Our story began in 1973 when Greek Chef Lefteris Lignos from Santorini, moved to Puerto Rico and established Zorba the Greek, the first Greek restaurant on the Island. In 2022, his son Alexander Lignos decided to bring back the culture and the hospitality that characterizes his father’s homeland and opened OPA! Greek Kouzina.

The menu, a combination of traditional Greek dishes with a modern twist, was created with Greek Chef Alexandros Kardassis, recognized as one of the “Top Ten Chefs of Athens” with five Michelin Great Food & Value awards, and the traditional Lignos family recipes like our classic moussaka crafted with love.

All of our dishes and desserts are prepared daily with only the finest ingredients to deliver the most authentic Greek flavor. La comida estuvo excelente, desde los aperitivos (pulpo y los 3 que tienen como principal el queso), hasta el postre.

Some dishes like the kefedes, rosemary chicken and grilled feta cheese were very good. Some other dishes were not. However, the service and ambiance were so excellent that i will be returning again.

Muy buena comida, velocidad de servicio y ambiente. Vale la pena!! Los calamares excelentes!! También los gyros.

Great service and magnificently execution in their Moussaka. It was delicious. Also the Calamari and the zucchini chips are a must. Best Greek restaurant in the Caribbean. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

absolutely amazing! our best meal in PR by far. fresh delicious vegetables, good portions. pita and dips were SO good. got the skirt steak which was cooked perfectly, the grilled chicken which was amazing. lamb gyro was a super generous portion and the shrimp saganaki was the best we’ve had. the wait staff was so attentive but not hovering. so friendly. do yourself a favor and go!!
