The Bistro at ONE65 features 2, 3, or 4-course Prix Fixe dinner menus with multiple choices for each course, showcasing local, seasonal fare minimally prepared to allow the ingredients to shine. Guests can choose to sit by the open kitchen and interact with the culinary team for a unique experience, or, opt for the main dining room, with a trendy yet comfortable atmosphere.

ONE65 Bistro is located on the third floor of ONE65, located at 165 O'Farrell Street and just steps away from the heart of Union Square. The Bistro shares a building with ONE65 Patisserie and Boutique, Elements Bar & Lounge, and the Michelin awarded fine dining restaurant, O' by Claude Le Tohic.

we had a wonderful time in our pre-theater dinner. Knowledgeable and approachable Somm, Flor(?) who suggested a terrific northern Beaujolais that would complement both fish/skate and duck mains. Impressive wine list -something for everyone - wide range of price points, new/old world offerings and interesting selection. lovely service by our waitperson (sorry, I''ve forgotten his name :-( ). We had an early pre-theater time on a tuesday night so it was quiet but we enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Btw the gluten free bread and GF options were terrific! (GF bread baked in the 5th floor restaurant apparently, a brown bread with good texture, maybe some buckwheat flour?)

What a fabulous experience!! Loved the dinner at the bistro level, and enjoyed it so much that I recommended the place to two other groups of colleagues (who went and loved it too!).

The restaurant is disorganized. (It is pretty and quiet) Showed up at 6p for an 8p curtain five minutes away. We ordered the 3-course prix fixe and told them when we ordered that we had a curtain. We also told them again when the mains arrived. At 7:35p we still hadn't received the dessert course. We asked for the desserts and the check to come at the same time. The check came right away and we were assured that the desserts were on there way. At 7:45p no desserts. We asked again. They said 5 minutes. We had to leave and have them re-do the bill.

Excellent service only to be matched by the impeccably prepared food. We sat at the Chef’s Bar and watched the artists at work. It was impressive to see the seamless choreography of the chefs and servers in action. Wine was delicious, as were our martinis.

The steak was a grisled mess. The duck pate was chunky and didn’t really have much flavor

Was really looking forward to dining here even though we didn't want to sit through a long tasting menu after a long day of site seeing so we opted for the bistro...we bought chocolates downstairs to take with us, had some cocktails at the lounge and then dinner at the bistro. Coming from NYC, we are very familiar with fine cuisine, Michelin stars, etc, but was sadly was disappointed with the bistro. Appetizers were boring, my duck was rubbery, skin was barely seared. Steak was overcooked and dry. Desserts were nothing special either. I guess that's why there was only 3 tables for dinner? Perhaps we should have gone upstairs instead for dinner for food that would be prepared with more care and flair? Chocolates from the first floor and cocktails were all very good though! Staff throughout were also extremely attention.

Hidden gem, I almost don’t want to leave a review to tell others about it, but they deserve everyone to visit! Everything is so on point, the taste, the look, the smell, and wine collection… I want to back every week (until I’m broke)!

Every dish of the restaurant week offering was outstanding. The onion tart was light while delivering rich flavor. The beef cheeks were almost like a rich beef pudding. The pineapple dessert was a lovely foil to the richness of the preceding dishes.
