                                                  This was my fourth time at Once Upon A Time in France. Our waitress was incredible, coursed everything out perfectly, and made our experience better. We started off with a white wine that was very light and slightly sweet. I don't recall the name of the bottle but it was number 13 on the wine list. The Steak tartare was excellent. I got the Duck Confit like I normally do, however I was disappointed with the meat. I have made duck confit and had it many times. Theirs lacked appropriate flavor and a slight sear that a good confit has. The ju was cold and I felt like they made the ju separately and just plated it with the duck. I would not recommend this dish. The Beef Bourguignon and Steak Frites were pretty good. A normal amount of fat was on each of the ribeyes, this was fine however it did soak into most of the fries and left many of them entirely soggy. We finished with the creme bruleé. Theirs is a non-traditional one containing a strong amaretto flavor. I liked the flavor but did not feel like the texture of the cream was the best, it was on the runnier side. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner because of the ambiance and great wait staff, just a few minor issues with the food.

                                                  we had a great time celebrating my sister and brother-in-law’s 34th wedding anniversary. We arrived at 4:30 when the restaurant open and was greeted with welcome and the best service . we had an amazing time at this place and would welcome all to come back again

                                                  Our experience at this restaurant was lovely. It is a quiet bistro, a neat experience and a hidden gem. I ordered the Beef Tartare which was a neat thing to try, and also the duck. Both came out very good, perfectly cooked. Except the tartare obviously, since that is a raw dish.

                                                  I finally made it to this restaurant and was not disappointed. Great service. The food was excellent. Near the end of my meal, a very loud group of women came in, but thankfully, we were finishing up. I’ve been to restaurants in Paris and enjoyed having the same ambience right here in Nashville. Loved it and will definitely be back.

                                                  Delicious food, perfect selection of wines, excellent service, so all we had to do was bring and be good company! Also finally an opportunity to speak French in the United States - it all made for a perfect Friday night out!
