We like this place a lot, so I am wanting it to be a goto for our date nights. But surprisingly I do have some things that weren't great on our last outing. - Our waiter seemed new, so it wasn't the normal great service we had come to expect. In fact, another waiter seemed to notice and he picked up the slack at the end of our dining experience. We still left a 20% tip so the waiter wouldn't be discouraged, but he does need to step it up a notch. Maybe smile once in a while. - THe eggplant appetizer wasn't hot in the middle. The sauce was hot, but the eggplant wasn't. - The prices are pretty stout. I know, I know, inflation and all... but dang. This cuts down my desire to eat out significantly. Maybe charge $10 for the app? and shave a few bucks off the entrees would keep me from raising my eyebrows so much.

Tried for the first time on Mother’s Day. Made a reservation several days in advance and was never told there would be a prixe fix menu. Not a huge deal, but one of my guests is vegetarian (the reason we chose this restaurant was due to them advertising vegetarian options, yet none were on the menu) and one of the others is 84 years old and eats less than a small child. Our server was young and friendly and helpful and extremely patient with our older guest, she had a lot of questions and doesn’t hear very well. I didn’t realize the restaurant closed soon after our reservation time. The wait staff was busy prepping for the night shift, a lot of friendly and fun banter going on between them, all around us, felt like we were sitting in the middle of the kitchen. The “southern Caesar” was very disappointing, sounded appetizing on the menu description but came out and was just chopped lettuce and two tiny drips of salad dressing, one crouton (yes, one lonely crouton) and some crunchy Parmesan cheese. It was obvious whoever was prepping the salads was very careless or untrained. Everyone in my group said their entree was good but nothing was great. My son ordered the steak and eggs and the eggs were overcooked and dry as a bone. Two of us had the crab cakes and the accompanying risotto was great. Mother’s Day is not the greatest time to try out a new restaurant, I get that. But spending $500+ for 5 people to have lunch, then you get told there’s an extra $12 fee for credit cards, just leaves an overall bad taste in my mouth. 99% of the people spending $75+ per person to have lunch are going to pay with a credit card. Charge an extra dollar if you have to, it’s just overall bad business sense to penalize a customer in multiple ways.

Terrific food and great service. We went for Mother's Day and found the visit enjoyable. We had a 2 yr old with us and their staff was very accommodating. We plan to go back for a date night. So, I definitely recommend this spot.

Have been to L on North several times and it's a solid choice; Mothers Day was different. Got a message a week after booking the reservation there was a fixed price menu ($58/pp) More than I wanted to spend - and they should have let me know ahead of time- but I get it. It doesn't help there's 2 other restaurants with very similar names in Marietta and Canton that do a better job of sharing menus than L On North. When we arrived we were taken upstairs to their third level, which seems like an afterthought. It is very loud and stark / cold feeling with zero decorations. Food came and potatoes were cold, steak was undercooked, bottomless mimosas were sent back (cheap sparkling wine + cheap OJ does not get better when mixed) and service was lacking. After sending the mimosa back I had to get up myself and fetch a cocktail menu for my wife - the Mom on Mothers Day - to order something different...this is pretty basic, guys. If a patron sends a drink back you should be at the table immediately with a drink menu. Out of 5 of us 3 dishes were really poorly executed and 2 were fair. Not sure if we'll return ever, but will definitely not go to L on North for a holiday affair.

Overall, it was a nice place for Mother’s Day. When I made the reservation about 1.5 weeks prior, their website didn’t mention anything about a limited Mother’s Day menu with a set price of $58 (gulp). Although you got a salad, entree, and dessert, it definitely wasn’t worth $58. The food quality was very good, and I’d go back to experience their full-menu. But I wouldn’t recommend it for future Mother’s Days :-(

There aren’t very many good tables. The back part of the restaurant is where most of the seating is and it’s very dark. No natural light. Probably not a lot they can do about it, but it detracts from any otherwise great establishment.

L on N. at Marietta Square has great ambience, consistent food, clean, friendly, exceptional service (we like Nick), and is my favorite date night, Restaurant.

We were a group of five on a very busy Friday night before the theater and not only was was the restaurant convenient. The food was really good and our server was fantastic. We will definitely return.

Came to Marietta for a show at the Strand, and decided to give L On North a try… glad we did! Service was top notch. Drinks were delicious and creative. Food was amazing, especially the Ahi Tuna Burger. Cheesecake empanada was awesome. Will definitely eat here again next time we’re near the Marietta Square.
