Ordered jerk salmon it wasn’t cooked and the lighting is so dim if I wasn’t a person who examined the food I would have been VERY sick !

Our whole order was wrong for myself and my significant other , my daughter never received her fries yet it was on our bill, and my curry did not taste like curry at all, no flavor. When we paid the waitress took our money and did not give us any change and assumed what was left was her tip and She did not check in to see if we were satisfied. It was an overall underwhelming dinner and we left hungry. The manager heard our concerns and was empathic and apologized but it simply was a bad experience.

Drinks were so great. Worth the money. Cute little spot. After a long day, I needed a good rum punch and authentic Caribbean food. Did not disappoint. I went early and had the place to myself. Loved the music and the overall vibe. Would go back.

I am so disappointed with my experience at Omar’s last Sunday. I had been before and had a great meal, so I decided to take my younger brother to dine as he was in town visiting. They were out of codfish fritters at 7pm. Strike one. We ordered the jerk chicken platter and a side of plantain, which to their credit, both came out quickly. It was the absolute worst jerk chicken I’ve ever had. I mean completely flavorless rubbery skin like it had been boiled, the sauce tasted like something bottled from Target. The plantains were drenched in old grease. I was soooo disappointed. They also charged two times the price of any regular Jamaican place where you’d order the same meal. Never returning.
