We show up at 6:20 for a 6:30 reservation. The hostess told us “I just gave your table to someone else.” We had to wait for a table. She was very unprofessional. So there’s no confusion she was the obese hostess. This place has nice live music but the staff really need training and a manager that knows the restaurant business.

This was a fun place to go on a Friday night with a live jazz band. A dance group was there, so it was entertaining watching with them and dancing alongside. The food was good, but I would like to see a few more vegetarian or vegan options. Our waitress was excellent and did everything possible to give us a great anniversary celebration!

I think they are understaffed as I’m sure many places are however that delayed our drink and food order significantly. The servers were awesome.

Valentines Special: Easy to get in if you didn't plan. Relaxing live music. Way understaffed so your going wait for service. Very limited menu. Nice flowers on table but table cloth thrown over plastic foldout cheap card table obvious. Great view on hill over city lights nice.

I have gone to events but never eaten at their restaurant. My husband and I went there on a date for Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu with two or three options for each part of the meal. Everything seemed very delightful until we had our meal. Much to our surprise the food was only mediocre. I don’t think that I would put this restaurant as fine dining. My husband was so disappointed we had to do a do over date.

O’Malley’s is finally getting the menu and food quality to match the beauty of the view. Chef Elizabeth is doing a great job of leveraging the small kitchen in this golf course restaurant/bar to be able to keep it open and active through our cold winters. I’ve had the Migas Bowl (rice, black beans and chorizo on a bed of tortilla chips, with two eggs on top) on one trip; Hash & Eggs on the second, where the hash is house-made corned beef - very good. Great place for Sunday brunch.

Went on a Friday for dinner with a friend. The live music was extremely loud and it was very difficult to hear conversation across our small table. The drinks were good. The shrimp salad was ok except the shrimp were raw and had a bad taste to them. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but would order something different, and not go on a live music night unless I was there specifically for the music. Seafood chowder was the best I've had in town!

Was so surprised to find that there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant when we arrived, and basically had the place to ourselves after they left. It’s a very lovely place to eat, with nice views even in a winter evening. My sister-in-law enjoyed her salmon, brother had a great burger, my pasta was nice but nothing special. Anyway, it’s a very nice out of the way place in south Anchorage that should probably deserves more clientele.

We booked for Sunday brunch thinking it would be a special type service and meal. It was merely a smaller menu and nothing particularly special. But we knew the food was good so we were fine with ordering from the one page menu. Two burgers, a bowl, and an omelette were ordered at our table and I ordered the entree spring mix salad with chicken added. What arrived was a medium sized bowl of spring salad mix identical to what Costco sells plus a small sliced chicken breast with a few croutons and a couple added veggies. Fair enough. Not fantastic looking but ok. Until I started eating it and happened upon the slimed leaves of older greens inside the salad itself. I tried picking them out and continuing but there was too much. And to pay that much for a salad dining out it should be much better. So we sent it back and I got a burger instead. It was delicious. No complaints except my replacement meal showed up after everyone else was done so that is always awkward. And the waitress did let us know they put a discount on my burger. It was $2 off. I mean thanks? But seemed super minimal for a discount. I would have been fine with no discount. I think if you’re making a statement go half price or comp the entree. So overall everything but the salad was great. Waitress very friendly and attentive. But I don’t think it was a true brunch experience. Fine for a Sunday small menu meal. And great views when the weather cooperates. 😀

Everything was great, the service, ambiance, noise level, scenery and food. My only slight disappointment was that the food didn’t come out quite as warm as I like but it was delicious nonetheless.

Sunday morning brunch was great! Atmosphere & environment was superb! But I had to wait long time to get my coffee refilled. Again, I had to call someone to bring more coffee. Other than that we had pleasure time.

We had a family table for six with breathtaking view. The Sunday brunch menu had enough selections to satisfy all ages. The service was very good and the food was excellent at a reasonable price.

This is a beautiful venue with fantastic city views. The live music on Friday night is always good. The menu is varied but frankly, the food is only mediocre. We like to support live music but this menu almost never changes and is pretty tired.

the music and dancing are usually good. the food not so much. have been twice. the burger was overcooked the first visit. the salad was limp and couldn't get it on the fork the second visit. the music is always entertaining though the genre varies from week to week. it can be quite loud. the ambiance is beautiful overlooking the golf course and Mt Susitna. with reservations you can have your own table. otherwise its bar seating.

The speakers for the band were too loud. Couldn’t make out what they were singing even though we were sitting farther away. It sounded better in the ladies room.

Service is lacking. Food was okay. No one complained, but no one said it was good either. The temperature was served cool, for hot dishes. We have to refill our waters because we could never find someone to ask. The bands are too loud for the environment. I have been twice now. And you cannot hear conversations at the table. You can only hear the person next to you. We created a table text chat just to be able to communicate with one another. The thing that made it worth it- is that it a beautiful view!!!!!And the table was large so you could have a large group around one table. :-) I would go for the experience, but try it before you want to book it for anything meaningful else you will find yourself disappointed. If you have the choice, sit outside- and at least the noise will not be an issue. However, still don’t count on good service. Despite all, I would go back during summer because the windows and view make it worthwhile.

Great time, food was good, since only two tables where taken it would have been nice to be seated at the window. Our server might have been new but she was very nice. They must of had a golf competition because at one point they passed out awards with loud celebration. Would stop in again. I hope one Friday they offer a mix with Spanish music or a disco/DJ. Love coming there on Friday for dinner, music and dance.

The only problem I had was a slight difficulty finding parking, but it was obviously a very nice day on the greens - and people were enjoying it. And that's the main goal of your business, so I can't fault you there. The food was delicious, service was excellent, & music was terrific! My friends & I all had a great time!

I have eaten here several times, it can be hit or miss. Unfortunately tonight the food was terrible. Ordered the Kobe burger, it had no flavor and was extremely overdone. Service was good.

We went on Friday when they have live music. Music was fantastic (jazz mom). View spectacular. Food was fine for the price. Service was lacking (I never got my meal. My husband and cousin shared with me) but staff was friendly. We would go again.

We had a terrific experience! Just finished 18, and stopped for some salmon, which was great. Our server was outstanding as well. The clouds obscured the view, so it wasn’t as impressive as it normally is. I recommend it highly!

There was no host so someone who was actually eating at a table got up and sat us. The drinks were BLa and the meal wasn’t that great.

Waitress was not attentive at all. Food was clearly done in a crockpot with some sub standard gravy. Horrible and would never recommend.

Took about 15 minutes before server came to talk with us. One server for food and bartend. Was out of several of their main dishes. People around us had waited along time for food. We left when what we were going to order they were out of

The food was good. The service was so bad that we saw other diners be seated and wait, and wait, and then get up and leave. We attempted to get dessert but that wait was so long we canceled and requested our check.
