Omakase By Aung is modern, up beat and contemporary sushi omakase restaurant located at 567 Kapahulu Ave next to world famous Waikiki beach in Honolulu. Mixture of Edomae style nigiris and model innovative nigiris will be served in 1 hour 45 minutes long Omakase meal. Seasonal fish from around the world are used in the 15 courses omakase meal.
Omakase by Aung provides single 15 courses menu to all customers for both Lunch and Dinner Service.
Chef Aung will provide laid back and fun experience for all sushi lovers. Open kitchen with a long 12 seats sushi counter in the middle of the restaurant allows interactive experience between the customers and the chefs.

Mainly a tourist place. Chef was a bit cheeky at times. Better omakase is available in Honolulu.

great service, sushi chef was nice and accomodating. food was great. interior was intimate and i liked the decor. it was worth the entry price imo

Fun laid back dining experience. Talented Sushi Chef Aum was delightful as always interacting w/ diners while offering one unique dish followed seamlessly by another. Two efficient helpers provided excellent service. Our favorite place for high quality sushi!

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing setting. Just 5 stars all around. One of the best dinner experiences of our lives. The vibe is small and private, you don’t just get to know the chef and his staff but you know the people around you and share good times with all. It’s byob, bring a bottle for your group but don’t forget to bring another bottle for those around you because everyone is happy and excited to share with you as well.
