Welcome to Olea, Cellar. Craft. Cook located in Newport Beach. OLEA, named for a genus of trees that flourish in warm and tropical regions throughout the Mediterranean region.
Our menu features seasonal ingredients of the highest quality that are prepared daily from scratch. Menu selections include exceptional meats, flavorful seafood, handpicked produce from our garden, and diverse beverage selections. We have over 25 wines by the glass, 10 craft beers, and a full bar featuring a wide variety of craft cocktails. We use the best possible ingredients and techniques to ensure that every drink served is an experience. Only fresh fruit and hand-squeezed citrus juices are used every day. We use premium spirits and pour all of our sodas and mixers from bottles. At Olea we take great pride in the Art of the Cocktail. Cheers!

Another fantastic dining experience ! Amber was our server and as always did a stellar job. We love that the management also takes the time to stop by and check in. Love dining on the patio and now that it is warmer even more special. Food was delicious and served piping hot.

Olea is a neighbourhood gem, great for a cocktail with friends, or a lovely dinner. This was a late dinner because that is what worked. I had the halibut, and it was perfect. Ate at the bar as that was easy; bartender was great and offered great service that I have gotten used to coming here. Thanks Olea. Keep up the good work.

We enjoyed our dinner at Olea last night. The short rib pasta was amazing. The burger was excellent. Ambiance and service are always to notch.

Our server was wonderful as was the food: swordfish special-spectacular, halibut, and short rib pasta. The pea appetizer was also delicious and it was gratis. We have been here at least 3 times and we will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. I gave a 4 star due to the burger meat being overcooked and dry. Mac & Cheese is excellent and butter lettuce salad was super good.

The food is always perfect. So is the service. Caroline took great care of us. It was a special occasion and Olea took notice of that too. We celebrate all of our special times there.

Booked for 8:30 pm on Sunday evening after attending an event. Restaurant called repeatedly to inform they closed at 9 pm. Open Table should not book! Manager recognized the issue and gave us a free order of Oysters Rockefeller. Excellent! Also enjoyed scallop and fried greed tomato and burrata appetizers Fries were burnt.
