Great dinner again….the salmon, the burger, the short rib grilled cheese, and the limoncello cake were all phenomenal! Great meal again and our server was spectacular too!

The food was okay, but service was really slow. 2 out of 3 visits have had slow service. I really want this restaurant to be successful, but we have often chosen to go elsewhere due to our initial experience. Drink refills had to be asked for. We got the STEAK & BRUSSELS SALAD, but it was just plain lettuce and the steak serving wasn't that great (small and overcooked) We also got the BATTLEFIELD BURGER and it was just average, there is nothing special about it

We just discovered this place. Upscale menu with entrees, bar food, great salads. Everything is prepared fresh and you taste the difference! With many restaurants now being a “chain” , I have found the food underwhelming. Not here, the ribeye sandwich rivals one I had at a great steakhouse in NYC recently. Ambience is lively but low key at the same time. Love the comfy chais. Good cocktail options. Great service! Going to try brunch next time.

Unfortunately we wanted more, but our waitress never came to see us. After being there for over an hour, my family only had a chance to see the waitress 3 times (order/ delivery/ check). We were appetizer sampling, and ended up only having 1 round. I went home and cooked the rest of our meal.

The food was really good. The servers were all very nice, but service was slow and not very attentive. Probably more an indication of difficult times for restaurants than an issue at the restaurant. We will go back. The food was very nicely prepared!

The menu changed just a couple of weeks ago and we had the mussels entree as an appetizer and it was fantastic and I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and my wife had the Avocado, Fried Green Tomato and Bacon and Lettuce sandwich and they were both terrific. Our server Hailey was very good and attentive. Only issue we have with Old Dominion Tavern is that it is very noisey. We sat at a high top in the bar area and we had trouble hearing each other talk. They should probably try turning down the music some so maybe the patrons don’t have to talk so loud. Other than that the food and service were excellent.

Excellent, friendly server. The food was very good. My steak was slightly undercooked, but not enough to send back. Great to be able to eat outside and bring our well behaved dog.

Salmon, Rockfish, and the short rib and grilled cheese were fabulous. The broccoli that came with the salmon was one of the most flavorful broccoli I’ve had. Great food, great service, and a wonderful place all around. I always love their popcorn too!!
