In the quaint & historic town of Vinings, Old Vinings Inn is steeped in fond memories and heritage. Our house has served many functions in its past - a post office, a general store, a filling station - and for the last 25 years we welcome you into our home celebrating life& milestones or just simply an elegant, gracious, and tasteful Southern dining experience!

We serve classic Southern fare like our famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits plus amazing modern Southern cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients by our Executive Chef. Visit our Attic Bar for live music Thursday through Saturday nights!

It was Saturday night at 7 PM and the place was almost empty. We kept wondering why this was so. We were a party of six and three ordered a pasta vegetarian entrée. It was unanimous. It was not good at all. It was almost all pasta, and I’ve just a few morsels of vegetables. So now we know why the place was almost empty.

I am very sorry the vegetable pastas did not exceed expectations (and I was glad to hear the other items ordered were enjoyed). We were a party of 5 for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and we had the best time! The food was all delicious, the service was outstanding and the ambiance on the patio was just perfect. Needless to say we will all be back and highly recommend!

I love this place for the food and cute atmosphere. Their gluten free fried chicken is outstanding. The only issue with my last visit is that I asked to start with the candied bacon, then wanted the chicken to split as our entree, but they both ended up coming out at the same time. Otherwise I would’ve given 5 stars.

Went for lunch and had one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve had in a long time. Fries were fresh cut and crispy.

We came in to celebrate my Wife on Mother’s Day. This was our first time dining at this restaurant, but the restaurant came with a recommendation from a trusted friend. Upon arrival we felt welcomed, like the staff was glad we were there. We got there a bit early for our reservation, so we were prepared to wait until our scheduled time, considering that it was Mother’s Day. The manager did a great job meeting our request and sat us outside within 10-15 minutes, still ahead of our reservation. Our server, Lehr, was amazing. Considering my wife’s dietary restrictions (tomato allergy) he was able to recommend items on the holiday menu that were safe and tasted amazing. He truly made the day special and memorable. We will return.

Mothers Day was a blast! We were warmly wrapped in a blanket of friendliness and great food when we stepped through the door to the moment we left. A memorable day we will repeat soon.

I had a wonderful experience at the Mother's Day brunch! The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. However, I do think that they need to improve their logistics for holiday dining, especially since it gets busy and space is limited. Despite this, we will return!"
