We came in to celebrate my Wife on Mother’s Day. This was our first time dining at this restaurant, but the restaurant came with a recommendation from a trusted friend. Upon arrival we felt welcomed, like the staff was glad we were there. We got there a bit early for our reservation, so we were prepared to wait until our scheduled time, considering that it was Mother’s Day. The manager did a great job meeting our request and sat us outside within 10-15 minutes, still ahead of our reservation. Our server, Lehr, was amazing. Considering my wife’s dietary restrictions (tomato allergy) he was able to recommend items on the holiday menu that were safe and tasted amazing. He truly made the day special and memorable. We will return.

Mothers Day was a blast! We were warmly wrapped in a blanket of friendliness and great food when we stepped through the door to the moment we left. A memorable day we will repeat soon.

I had a wonderful experience at the Mother's Day brunch! The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. However, I do think that they need to improve their logistics for holiday dining, especially since it gets busy and space is limited. Despite this, we will return!"

One word. Excellent in everything. Truly some of the best southern food, without the grease. Simply put it..."clean food". Service is what you expect from a 5 star restaurant. Fried green tomatoes Fried chicken Brussels sprouts Lamb...etc, etc, etc. OMG, the brownie 😍

We really enjoyed our Sunday brunch. There wasn’t a big crowd and the service was prompt, very cordial, and we had excellent recommendations. We shared fried green tomatoes, and were very pleased with the eggs Benedict and country breakfast as entrees. It was my wife’s first visit and she’s looking forward to returning.

We sat upstairs in the bar area, which has the perfect ambience everyone up there was talking to each other, lol the bartender Rick had everyone talking with each other. It was great. Rick is the best host ever! of course the food was top-notch as it always is!

The sirloin steak ( only steak on menu) was very tough. My husband had The pork chop and it was dry. The food was much better the last time we were there. Expensive meal for the quality.

Been too long since we have been here. All around excellent. Our server was Lehr, and he was outstanding, great timing, and great suggestions. We had the crab cake appetizer, which was wonderful - very little filler and mostly delicious Crab. For our mains, we had the Beef Short RIbs with mashed potatoes, and the Shrimp and Grits. Both were excellent, followed by the wonderful deserts of the flourless chocolate cake and the blueberry cobbler - which we highly recommend. We will be back soon!

A trip down memory lane for us, Saturday evening we were very surprised to see it so, so quiet, between 7-8:30pm there were only about 4 tables eating in the whole restaurant??? Food and cocktails were great! We went upstairs to listen to some music and perhaps have another drink, there was about 6 people up there, we would have had another cocktail but the bartender told us there was an additional $5 cover charge each, so we left! They never used to charge, that doesn’t sit too well with me. Sorry!

We live 5 minutes away from OVI. It has been a favorite for years, and has improved to near perfection lately. Vinings is lucky to have some of the best restaurants in Atlanta, including the OVI.

Good bar upstairs; competent and personable bartender with nice atmosphere. Outside porch for nice weather Comfortable setting for 6 friends. We were able to carry on conversation without any overbearing 'background' music which seems to be everywhere else.

Overall very disappointing pre-fixed Easter Sunday meal. Food was very salty. Wait staff was pleasant but follow up was lacking. The quality of food and service was not worth a 250$ (pre tax and tip) meal for family of 4. Will not go back. Perhaps regular lunch/dinner is better, but would avoid the pre-fix menus when they are large volumes of people.

We were not told ahead of time that there was a $55 3-course menu. We were not celebrating Easter and did not want so much food!!!

What a warm welcome we got entering the restaurant. Lehr is a great hugger. We proceeded upstairs where we were promptly greeted by Rick, who took our drink and dinner order. We really enjoyed the live music. KT brought us our dinner order all prepared to perfection. While Rick attended to other patrons, another server, Silas, checked in on us. We certainly enjoyed all the attention. If you haven’t tried OVI, you should check it out.
