OK Omens is a wine focused restaurant with an emphasis on both natural wines and integrity driven classics. Opened by 5x James Beard Nominated Chef Justin Woodward and 'Food & Wine Magazine' Sommelier of the Year Brent Braun, we offer a seasonal eclectic dinner menu designed to compliment our playful, progressive wine program.

We are currently offering reservations for our dining room. Our bar seats are available for walk ins every night. Check Instagram for updates :)

Oyster & Riesling Happy Hour

Secure your seats for our new happy hour, daily from 5 to 6 pm, 7 days a week. We’re talking sparkling fresh oysters for $1 each, price cuts on snacks and house cocktails, $9 glasses of wine and 25% the *entire* Riesling bottle list (Portland’s deepest.) The dining room can fill up fast, and reservations are strongly encouraged! Our full dinner menu is available during happy hour.

OK Omens has been an important touchstone for us for several years. We don't go regularly but probably 5 or 6 times a year we reacquaint ourselves. Early in the Pandemic, it was one of the first restaurants that adjusted to outdoor service and we went nearly every week. The food has really continued to improve, the wine list is stellar and the service is always exceptional. The wine and spirits descriptions are small literary masterpieces.

This was our first visit and we quite enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was really good.

My wife and I have been here a few times previously and had great experiences, this time was not remotely the same. We went here on Mother's day with our family. We were immediately sat next to the restroom with a few open tables outside and also numerous available inside. When my wife asked to move she was told no other tables were available. Then when I asked they moved us. Strike One. Then they were less than accommodating when we asked about Gluten free options unlike times we had been there previously. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue but couple with the other problems it just compounds the experience. Then our food took over 1.5 hours to get to us and we only ordered a Cheese Burger and the Halibut main dish with a few sides to share. Strike Two. During that wait there was not one time that we were checked on, asked if we wanted or needed other drinks or small dishes. Strike Three. We were not the only family there and they had the same experience as we did. So it seems like they were not interested in having families come to dine with them. The icing on the cake was, not one person the entire meal said happy mother's day to my wife, when we had our kids with us. We will not be dining here again and that is a shame as it was a great place previously. I would recommend you stay away as well.

Mind blowing combination of improbable textures and flavors infused with exotic tastes that will satisfy every individual pallet. ‘‘Twas a perfect outing for Mother’s Day surprise, for my Moms, especially! We will be back for dishes we still have to try_! Cheers:-)

This was my second visit to Ok Omens. After the first visit I knew I had to return and I was not disappointed. The food here is excellent and creative. The service is exceptional.
