Omakase is a Japanese traditional dining style that derives from the phrase Omakase shimasu, meaning “I trust you, chef”, where family and close friends seats in a circle, an intimate experience of trust, honoring the expert’s hands, allowing him to improvise during the experience.

Best omakase experience! I have been to so many in Japan and around the world, but this was a unique experience as the chef Frances is an artist in mixing Mexican and Japanese flavours! The integration of the the ingredients was on antheer level!

Honestly some of the best food we've ever had. This restaurant is amazing, the 10 course meal was 10/10 and chef Osvaldo was phenomenal. We will not only visit this place every time we're in Tulum, we'll specifically come to Tulum just to visit this place!

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday at Oishi. We were thrilled to have wonderful portion sizes of nigiri, cooked fish, oysters & more. Previously we’ve found omakase to be very light in terms of food quantity, so this was great. The staff was very lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner in Tulum!

Overpriced for what you get,be prepared and know your conversion rates. We just paid $1,000USD and left hungry and wanting more. Save your money for home.

Best Japanese food in Tulum. I strongly recommend the omakase experience. The drinks are great. You come here for the experience, the food, the drinks. Not for not cheap food.

The food was really good but the alcohol was really overpriced. Service was great! Overall we really enjoyed it but would’ve liked more reasonable alcohol prices.
