Went for Mother’s Day brunch Pros: beautiful views, lovely live music, helpful staff Cons: We arrived at around 12:40 and was told they are all out of snow crab legs because people ate too much?!? My family was disappointed because they didn’t get to try and it was one of the highlights on the menu we were looking forward to the most. False advertising of menu items. We also thought it was very strange that none of the dessert items have labels.

Table seating was really poor and the table was a foldable one.I specifically in advance and on Open Table for a seatingclose to the windows. Not good!

Best seating area we found, is in the middle directly across from the serving station but not beside the piano. While the music has always been wonderful, we have found on occasion, that it can sometimes make it difficult to have conversation.

Great service. Wine menu mediocre. Buffet meal did not offer great quality menu for $72 a person. No carving station. Pasta station had ingredients that were not fresh.

The Jazz Night Buffet is not worth it. For $72/ person only a few choices. No soup, no beef, no chicken. It was overpriced. The service was superb. Our server was energetic and attentive.

Our server was amazing! She said she will be approaching 30 years! Very remarkable to have such a long standing employee. Food was delicious, great variety, very happy with the variety of salads. This was my first visit and I look forward to coming back. Very enjoyable.

Food tasted very good, but several trays were empty which limited the selection. Red meat gone, vegetables gone, Caesar salad, cheeses, flat bread etc. We inquired about the empty trays and was advised more was coming. Maybe it arrived did but not when we went back to look.

It's been a long time since we've gone for brunch. Everything was delicious, food was fresh and hot. A large selection, there is something for everyone. Definitely worth it.

Our waiter today is Harry. He’s the best, so attentive and exceeds our expectations. Ocean 999 is one of our favourites restaurant. For sure we’ll be back again.

Had not been to a Buffet since before Covid. It did not disappoint then and now was no different. The selection of food was definitely outstanding. Was focused on the seafood and it was cooked well. A feat that is hard to accomplish on a buffet. Hats off to the kitchen. The carving station was stocked with lamb, roast beef and Salmon Wellington a definite treat. Thank you. It was a pleasure to indulge. Take a big plate to the desert tables it’s just to had to choose. One of everything is a must. Happy Easter.

Pricey but a helluva spread ….and my kid loved watching the boats and planes. Fortunately kid was just under 6 so weren’t charged for him (he just ate pineapple despite fun stuff for kids including fries and cake pops!)

The food was amazing, as was the service. Our server, Daniel was present but never intrusive. Very please demeanor. Stellar decor & setting. Buffet was done in such a way, that it had an excellent flow.

The food was excellent, with wonderful variety. The only thing we noticed that was absent was an array of fresh fruit, the choice seemingly limited to strawberries. Live entertainment is always a great treat. I only wish the singer's phrasing was better, but I confess to being a singer myself and perhaps a little demanding in that regard.

Although busy, food seemed to run out faster than being replaced. So there was a bit of a waiting period. That said our server was fantastic and appreciated her prompt and attentive care.

Very limited variety or choices of entree- the least I have ever encountered for a buffet dinner ever. No soup at all. The fish and sirloin beef were good. Ambience with the jazz trio was awesome but doubt we will return unless there’s a major change in the food variety.

Overall the experience was very good, the food was excellent, Jazz music was very nice. The only thing I found was that the drinks were a bit steep @ $25. I still give a 5 star for the place, service and food!

Very beautiful jazz live music. Very good variety of food. But it can add more meat carving stations. Lots of vegetarian options but not too much meat options. Service is awesome. Great view and great location. One thing can improve is to change the serving tongs more often for sanitary purposes. Also just leave the warming tray open without touching the handles so often. After the dinner, we all felt very thirsty and dry. We wonder if there’s any MSG in the food or sauce. Please cut out the MSG if there’s any as people may be sensitive to MSG. The pasta station is awesome with lots of ingredients and pasta and sauce to choose from. Overall, a very positive pleasant dining experience.

For what it’s valued for, the jazz buffet dinner really wasn’t much. The kitchen staff seemed unprepared for the service. Food came out lukewarm if not chill for things that should have been hot or warmer at least. The 2 pasta chefs weren’t ready till an hour in from opening. Just sub par.

The Saturday night buffet and live jazz was not what I expected and the price of $72 pp did not warrant the quality of food and live music. The food variety was sub-par, the best tasting food was the salads. Pasta bar was ok but the pasta was very al dente. The rock fish dish was the highlight although the fish was under-seasoned. The lotus root chip was the best part of the dish. Lots of issues with empty buffet dishes not being replenished. One big bright spot was the service we received and they were so kind to bring out a cake and sing as we celebrated a Birthday with this dinner. The live jazz was very underwhelming and something you would have in a hotel lobby in the background. Based on my research and past videos, was hoping for something a bit more interesting. Definitely not worth the almost $300 bill that we paid.

Tiny buffet, poor selection and poor refilling of the platters. People were filling up on the cheap pasta because there was little else to enjoy. Also, no view as the windows were blocked off due to construction. Extremely disappointing

Good choice was not good. Service is not good. There was a mouse running under the tables and when we told the waiter, she said she knows and that is because of a construction site close by. Never do it again

Brought my partner here for their 40th birthday. While dealing with the reservation team days leading up to the reservation and being seated was professional, the server we had was snippy and rude. Made no attempt at being friendly and was in a sour mood the whole time dealing with us, but would smile at the other tables around us. When we asked for the bill, the server brought it over and walked off quickly. Didn't bother to ask how we were paying. It wasn't until we got up to look for someone the server came back and told us to sit back down and they'll bring the machine over. All of a sudden the server became friendly as we were paying, I think to get a better tip. Very unprofessional and not the quality of service I'd expect from an establishment linked to the Pan Pacific. The food was alright. The few things that were great were done really well, while others missed the mark for me either because it was under seasoned or not cooked very well. Highly recommend the eggs benedict, best I've ever had, and the panna cotta is absolutely to die for. While they do mention part of the windows would be covered due to patio construction during 2024 at the time of reservation - this is misleading because all of the windows are completely covered with exception of a small corner panel with no tables. It be better for them to either comp the price for the view patrons are missing by a few bucks, or just be upfront about all of the windows being completely covered so guests know what to expect.

Both my husband and I felt sick after eating the buffet food. This was a rare date night for us and we were looking forward to it. Huge disappointment. Overall poor quality. Shrimp tasted off. Poor selection. Way overpriced for what was offered. Jazz was great. Restaurant was cold.
