Anyone that has not experienced cuisine here is sorely missing a opportunity to have GREAT food and atmosphere.. I have lived in Indialantic, Fl for 25 yrs and make the drive at least once a week. The staff and chef are exceptional and truly a diamond in the rough. I have never experienced a bad meal or inattentiveness of staff. It is best to make a reservation especially if you prefer to dine inside.

We have eaten there before and have had pizza and salads and it was very good so this time we tried some other entrées. Special was a blackened ribeye. my husband ordered medium rare. He told the waiter. It wasn’t medium rare, and waiter thought he wanted it cooked more so they brought it back a little more dead than it was before. then we had to wait while they redid the steak again. The fish and scallop dishes sound OK but a little disappointing. The scallop had a risotto that was unedible too many sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese over powered everything. I ordered the branzino with the special sweet potato mash which was delicious the fish came out slimy skin up no garnish very bland once I took skin off and a half of a hard fennel ball. The fish needed shaved fennel lemon zest parsley and garlic to make a better presentation and taste with a crispy skin side down. New chef? Oh and this was at 6pm before they were busy.

Booked a reservation using OpenTable. When we got to restaurant, the hostess said they didn’t see a reservation for us. I showed them our confirmation email and they didn’t react at all. They put us on waitlist, which they said was 15 minutes. We waited 30 minutes and still hadn’t been seated yet. We left and went somewhere else. We finally got text saying our table was ready when we were finishing our meal at other restaurant. Overall a very bad experience.

Our experience there was wonderful. I have lived in Indian Harbour Beach and visit Melbourne Beach often. It was our first time going. We went for a small birthday celebration and we will definitely be back. The service and food were wonderul and the cocktails were amazing!

I used to love going to Ocean 302, this last time they were very late with two of our food items. One of them being a beet salad, which when it finally came had but two beets in it. Very dissapointing :(

I do not have enough good things to say about ocean 302. This is our third time down to Melbourne in three years and we have eaten here every time during our weeklong trip. The food is awesome, the service is awesome, Audrey was our server, and she was attentive and Continuously checking on us. Various people came by and cleared our table as we finished eating. The forbidden salmon was fantastic. I look forward to going there again next year.

We had a reservation for Valentines Day, and when we got there, they said they didn't have us on the list. I showed them the back and forth email/texts, but it didn't seem to phase them. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait, or we could be seated outside immediately, where they had heaters. We chose to sit outside. It was cold and breezy outside, and there weren't enough heaters. We were out there for a good 10-15 minutes, and no one came by with water, to take a drink order, or anything! I know places get busy, reservations get messed up, etc., but there was no apology, no "Hey we're busy, but we'll get to you as fast as we can", nothing. So after 15 minutes, we just walked out. The food was pretty good the last time I ate there, so I gave that a good rating, even though we got none! They just didn't seem to care.

Our service was excellent and the bartender made a delicious non alcoholic cocktail but our food was very average for the price. 3 had the lobster ravioli special and one had the fish.

The food was good , however, we ordered two tomahawk steaks medium rare and they both came out extremely rare. They sliced them so we did not want to send them back. We took them home and grilled for breakfast. The next time, we will say no blood. The waitress was excellent.

Our first time here and happened to be on New Year's Eve. Easy reservations, ample parking, great ambiance, excellent service and awesome food and drinks! Large selection of Scotches and drinks and very reasonable prices, highly recommend it!

We are repeat diners at Ocean… it never disappoints! I had the whole Bronzino (which I order out and make at home A LOT)… it was FABULOUS!! Crispy exterior, meaty interior… perfect! We prefer the outside patio for the ambiance (heaters/fire pit for chillier lights). Highly recommended for a special meal or social night out!

Beach casual. Started with the spinach artichoke boule, I had the filet, she had the branzino fish. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. She had the pumpkin cheesecake and I had crème brûlée for dessert. Hidden Gem. It was our first time there. Great value, great service, will return and recommend to our foodie friends.

Ocean 302 is an unpretentious restaurant in a small strip mall a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean in the delightful beachfront community of Melbourne Beach. The star of the show is the food, as it should be! It is hard to imagine each dish of pub food being elevated, but to the delight of everyone in our group it was! Prepared with obvious pride and culinary skill in an open kitchen not customary in a GastroPub, the chefs and cooks set and maintained a high standard. Our server was great, engaged, friendly and very attentive. I will be back!

Calamari is fantastic and the fish and chips is crunchy outside, most inside and huge. Have been there twice and loved it both times, several different dishes.

We hadn't eaten here in quite awhile, only due to the driving distance, and we were pleasantly surprised to see they had remodeled a bit and the food and service was just as great as our last visit! We went during the week so it wasn't slammed but busy enough! It's definitely one of our favorites in Brevard County!

I was not impressed by the food or the service. The mussels were small and lacked flavor. The handheld sandwich- New Strip was cold and very tough to chew. This was so unfortunate because we were celebrating Father’s Day.

I have been going to Ocean 302 since they opened years ago. The service, food, ambience, and overall vibe of the place is consistent and EXCEPTIONAL. Michael, the manager, makes you feel like family and Jamie and Ivan, two of their incredible servers, are knowledgeable, friendly, and overall great people. I highly recommend for any occasion.
