Oak Nashville presents an innovative take on the classic steakhouse. Located in the heart of Music City, Oak Steakhouse offers a modern approach to steakhouse dining, serving farm-fresh dishes alongside steakhouse classics in a modern and intimate environment. Everything was great, but we literally had two gnats hanging over our table the whole time. We were having a business dinner and trying to swipe at them to keep them off our food. Other than that, it was great. Staff, food and location.

Very busy but we were seated right away. At a wall booth on the far side of the restaurant. After our waitress greeted us and ordering a drink we began to notice gnats, first one or two then several once our salad arrived. We called over our waitress and she admitted they were aware and tying to manage it. I finally spoke to a manager and requested a different table and we were accommodated. It was much better but o still saw the occasional gnat. Our original waitress finally approached and said she was still our primary server though she was handling a large group near our original location. Well the service slowed and was handled by multiple folks. All this put a major damper on what was to be a special birthday dinner. The food was good though a bit salty for the beef we ordered. In the end the restaurant cut the bill in half though we never saw a manager just the original waitress.

Big gnat issue. We were wafting them away all dinner and some got in our wine. Not pleasant. Really took away from our ability to enjoy our meal.

Oak is one of my favorite go restaurants when staying downtown to see my son at Belmont. The Staff are cool, the food is good and they make a great Manhattan. My son loves it too. Check out Scubadiver “Double Rainbow Land” to hear the music the younger generation at Belmont is pumping out of their dorm-rooms in Nashville on Spotify & Apple.

The service and personalized attention at Oak is outstanding! Equally excellent service at the bar and in the dining room! Madeline in the dining room; Will and Claire at the bar!

Oak Steakhouse was amazing ! I set up the reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday . I was expecting a happy birthday and a desert but they went all out . When we arrived to our table they had his name and birthday number printed on the menu , even a card signed by the staff. The food was amazing , drinks were great ! Server was so friendly ! Not one bad thing to say about our experience .

Food was great as always, but there were fruit flies/gnats everywhere. Overwhelming and certainly for a place of that price point was not acceptable.

Always Excellent, food service, convenient. Go everytime we are in Nashville! Our server Robert is just the best!! Treats us like royalty!! We love everything about this restaurant!!
