Oak Nashville presents an innovative take on the classic steakhouse. the music was too loud. asked to turn it down as we had to speak very loudly to hear. We were a party of 7. a speaker was over our heads with music blaring. Other than that is was the BEST!

Great service but food was over cooked and cold . My husbands was undercooked and cold. Plates at a minimum should be hot at a high end steakhouse.

Lindsey was awesome and she knew the menu. The drinks were delicious and well as the appetizers were excellent. the meal was outstanding and Lindsey made us feel right at home. She is super person and we made a reservation to come back for Father's Day, Saturday night we asked for Lindsey.

Fabulous food, atmosphere, and best yet—service. Our meal was over the top with an incredible wine list. Our server was interactive and knowledgeable, taking our experience to the next level. A must eat.

It was our 45th anniversary and we’re looking forward to a pleasant evening. Tara was our excellent server. She displayed a lot of patience, explaining the menu items, best method of ordering and suggested items the would pair well. She checked on us 4-5 times before we were ready to order, never making us feel hurried. We started with the biscuits and honey butter followed by Nashville hot crabcakes and they were absolutely delicious. Crisp on the outside tender on the inside and very tasty. Excellent choice. I ordered the half chicken. She ordered the 5 ounce lobster tail and we shared an order of grilled shrimp. Also ordered the brussels sprouts and mac & cheese, which was one of the best M&C we’ve ever had. Midway between appetizer and entrées we were surprised with four oysters, baked in a creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious. Compliments of the staff for anniversary surprise. After consuming as much as we could of our food to the point of not being able to eat another bite, we were surprised with a very generous portion of chocolate cake and ice cream for anniversary dessert, complements of the restaurant staff. It was a great evening with great service and excellent food. Thanks again Tara for your service excellence.

I took my 3 adult kids to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. We all ordered steak (2 ribeyes & 2 filets) medium rare. All of the steaks came out very rare (very red & cold). I called over the server to get it corrected & was told that I didn’t want med-rare but medium - didn’t apologize but put me down like I didn’t know how to ask for my steak to be cooked! It took another 15 mins just to get my steak back. The flavor was only ok. I’ve had much better elsewhere & for the price it definitely wasn’t worth it. Will not go back.

The food was exquisite. Our server was sweet and helpful and everything was just as we hoped it would be after a long day downtown. 😮‍💨 We ordered sea scallops small plates, the Brussels sprouts and the broccolini and finished with crème brûlée. We would definitely return.

This place really fell short of expectations. Cold food, poor service, undercooked dishes, overcooked steaks, inattentive service. There are far better places in Nashville for this price point.

Medium steak grilled a little closer to medium well. Bone marrow didn't have as much marrow as accustomed to. Everything else was great.

Everything was great, but we literally had two gnats hanging over our table the whole time. We were having a business dinner and trying to swipe at them to keep them off our food. Other than that, it was great. Staff, food and location.

Very busy but we were seated right away. At a wall booth on the far side of the restaurant. After our waitress greeted us and ordering a drink we began to notice gnats, first one or two then several once our salad arrived. We called over our waitress and she admitted they were aware and tying to manage it. I finally spoke to a manager and requested a different table and we were accommodated. It was much better but o still saw the occasional gnat. Our original waitress finally approached and said she was still our primary server though she was handling a large group near our original location. Well the service slowed and was handled by multiple folks. All this put a major damper on what was to be a special birthday dinner. The food was good though a bit salty for the beef we ordered. In the end the restaurant cut the bill in half though we never saw a manager just the original waitress.

Big gnat issue. We were wafting them away all dinner and some got in our wine. Not pleasant. Really took away from our ability to enjoy our meal.

Oak is one of my favorite go restaurants when staying downtown to see my son at Belmont. The Staff are cool, the food is good and they make a great Manhattan. My son loves it too. Check out Scubadiver “Double Rainbow Land” to hear the music the younger generation at Belmont is pumping out of their dorm-rooms in Nashville on Spotify & Apple.

Oak Steakhouse was amazing ! I set up the reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday . I was expecting a happy birthday and a desert but they went all out . When we arrived to our table they had his name and birthday number printed on the menu , even a card signed by the staff. The food was amazing , drinks were great ! Server was so friendly ! Not one bad thing to say about our experience .

The Ribeye steak melted in your mouth and the pork chop was very tender. The server Anna was amazing. My boyfriend enjoyed his birthday celebration.

I do not have the words to express the dining experience we had tonight- the service was amazing (thank you Robert), the food was the most delicious food ever (thank you Chef Jordan), the ambience was perfect - seriously wish I had better words to describe the experience!!! Hands down best dinner ever and perfect for celebrating our college grad and Sailor’s re-enlistment!

We were directed to Oak House by our hotel, JW Marriott! The meal was wonderful, a little pricey, but we enjoyed the evening and the staff were wonderful. Very nice upscale restaurant.
