Used to love this place. Waited about 15 minutes for server to show up Another server saw what was going on and poured our water. She came back saw we WERE STILL NOT SERVED and took our drink order. She talked with our assigned server. Our assigned server stopped by our table to tell us she is very busy - has high blood pressure - she will do “the best she can”. Food was mediocre - drinks were just okay. Very disappointing for a place we used enjoy.

We really enjoyed our dinner. Excellent service! Food was good but not outstanding, only two choices for desert and both of them chocolate. A little too noisy for my taste. But very pleasant experience overall.

The service was excellent, for a start. Our server was attentive but never intrusive. The food was markedly better than nearby restaurants and actually at a better price point. A dependably good restaurant/ bar hiding in plain sight!!

I’ve always loved OAK Long Bar and Kitchen and was excited to bring a friend here from out of town. Unbeknownst to me they had changed the dinner menu and removed the pizzas and chicken entree I was looking forward to. I had the eggplant piccata which was tasty but very different and small portions. My friend had the paella, that was served very different than any paella either of us have ever seen. There was no liquid it served on a plate and had a scoop of rice 3 shrimp and a pawn. Not what either of us wanted or expected. Especially for the price. In the future I would recommend this place for drinks and apps, I would skip on dinner.

The food is excellent and usually service and ambiance are as well but service was pretty slow - took almost 45 minutes to get juice I ordered 3x and cocktails took 20 minutes and it was not busy at all. Food was really good but slow service took a toll on the experience as we had to ask for everything twice and food came out not at the same time.

Food was good, but unfortunately one of the breakfasts had several shells in the eggs (and not small pieces). The space did seem short staffed which is unfortunately is a problem everywhere these days.

My favorite hotel bar/restaurant. The location is historic, and gives you a warm, comfortable yet elevated dining experience. Staff is always great and attentive. Food is phenomenal, the vegan eggplant piccata with a meyer lemon and caper dressing, vegan cheese, cashew cream is one of my favorites. The New York Strip is always made to perfection Something for everyone which is refreshing.

Slow service without many tables booked. So much for the Plaza decor. Terrible food. $32 for a canned-quality clam chowder and two chewy tasteless prawns. That x2 Plus 4 mediocre cocktails. $170. Plus tip. $200 down the drain. What a disgrace Boston is.

We were a group of six people and only two meals were served on time. Three more meals were served at staggered intervals. The sixth meal, which was the simplest, took an extremely long time to arrive. This disappointed us greatly as we have been loyal customers for a long time and this experience did not meet our expectations.

My entree was very small, not enough for a meal. 50$ worth of food and drink that we did not order was added to our bill. We waited quite awhile for our server to return, and finally informed another staff member when they checked on our table. Our waiter corrected the check, and barely apologized for the error. Not a great ending to our dinner.

Went for Valentines Day loveseat experience and it was well worth the money! Food was excellent, drinks were somehow even better, server was kind and attentive. They want you to take your time and don’t rush you, which we love.

We came to celebrate a friend visiting from out of town, and Oak Long Bar did not disappoint! The cocktails were so good we had to have seconds, and the food was equally amazing! We shared the duck, beef rib and shrimp&grits, and they were all outstanding! The only thing that wasn’t heavenly was the dessert, so consider having another appetizer and skipping the sweets!
