The interior is really cool and they also have a nice outdoor space. When we arrived, there were no tables outside so we were the first table to sit inside. Unfortunately they were so busy outside that our service inside was very very slow… We had to ask the hostess a few times to have our waiter stop by. The cocktails were decent but very expensive. My friend’s boulevardier cost $20. No beer on tap… Only cans, which is kind of disappointing. The apps were good main meals were meh. Probably won’t go back because they charge top shelf prices, but deliver medium shelf service and food.

This place is a hidden gem, very underrated. We’ve been here a couple times now. Awesome outdoor seating area, they have live music. The food and drinks are always outstanding. Pricey, but what you would expect from Menlo Park. Will come again for sure.

The restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. Drinks were very good, and our server was courteous and responsive, but the food was just ok. The platter of charcuterie was sparse, my chicken dish looked like it had just come out of a freezer. It tasted ok. After dinner our server very kindly brought us a piece of (free) cheesecake to celebrate my wife's birthday. Very nice gesture, however the cheesecake itself was so-so, way too dense and heavy.

Omg, incredible! I had dinner with my daughters and they made us feel very very welcome, we tried Mocktails, a glass of Champagne, fried squid, truffle potatoes, and we also tried the Brie cheese and this was one of my favorites as it was delicious and it melted with the bread in our mouths. On top of that René's tension and the warmth of Manager Chris made our night one of the best. We can't wait to return!

Good food and service overall but a few hiccups for our dinner there: only an outdoor table available (but after asking if any table would become available we got one indoor in 5 min), good-but-loud live music, and no heads up what what we ordered wasn’t available anymore.

Several problems, unfortunately: Initial service including drinks was slow, and no one asked if we wanted more. Waiter was unable to describe the menu items adequately (couldn't tell us what could be left off or served on the side). Recorded music was way, way too loud -- we could not hear one another across the table -- and the live music was OK but still too loud. Kept removing bread plates/share dishes, and dishes we weren't done with before we could stop them. Did not offer bread service -- we had to ask. End of meal service was also slow. Umbrella fell over and nearly hit us. They're pleasant enough and seem to be trying, but need much more training and process focus.

Our reservation was at 8:30 on a Saturday night , when we got there . They sat us at a table in a section that looked about ready to close up . All the other tables were unset . The service was good . Our server was a petite girl with black hair . She was sweet and we didn’t feel rushed . But the food was not good . I work at a Forbes 4-star restaurant whose kitchen also closes at 9 so I understand the late reservation being annoying . But on a Saturday night you kind of expect service to run a little later . The kitchen definitely lacked , you could tell they wanted to leave . We started with Brussels sprouts & the baked Brie . Both were good , no complaints there . And then I got the scallops and risotto , my boyfriend got the New York with the truffle Parmesan fries . My scallops were only seared on one side & if you’ve ever had amazing scallops you know a sear on both sides is the standard . The risotto was very very bland . The dish was lacking . It was literally just a pile of risotto with peas in it & scallops on top . No other ingredients.. just 3 . The steak was very thin , it was not a thick New York like I’m used to . It almost looked like a skirt steak & it was lacking color . There was no char on it . However it was flavorful . The fries did not have Parmesan on them at all . Kitchen must have forgot . We then go creme brûlée that said on the menu had berries and mint . It had none of that on it when it came out . So the kitchen was obviously in a rush to get out of there . We got 2 rounds of drinks and the bill was $300 dollars . I tipped 20% still cause the service was good it was just the food that wasn’t . I ate all the scallops because there were only 3 anyways , so I couldn’t really send back the dish . Nothing could have been done . I just wouldn’t recommend going here after 7:30 .

The food here is delicious and varied. The brussels sprouts were undercooked, however, but the preparation was very tasty. My wild boar ragu was delicious, as was my friend’s Caesar salad. The restaurant tables are spaced far apart enough that you can enjoy conversation without straining to hear!
