We have a strict 10 minute grace period for reservations. At least half of your party must be present to be seated. Parties who are running late should call the restaurant prior to your reservation time to ensure your reservation doesn't get canceled.

There are no same day reservations on Friday and Saturdays. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Here at Nova we combine the elegance and mastery of Asian mixology and cuisine combined with the creativity and showmanship of those in America. Everything was wonderful, Our server, Mary was very professional, pleasant and fun. Mary enhanced our already good experience. The only negative comment from our party was some of the smaller portions. We have Yellow Tail Belly and it was smaller but oh. so good. We are going back.

Food was amazing and service was top notch! Wish we had heard about this place sooner we would have tried the Tuesday/Wednesday offering, we are only in the area for a few days. Highly recommended!

Business dinner with 6 of us and had a great time sharing many tasty dishes. Brussel sprouts were amongst the best ever. Novaruption shortribs and the flaming drink were other big hits. Would for-sure return.

This was our first time visiting Nova and to our surprise how good the food was. Almost everything we ordered was delicious. The waiter said he or the manager David will not charge us for the appetizer to entice us to come back...that was super nice but when I got home and checked the receipt, it was not deducted from our bill. Oh well, just thought I mentioned that but for sure we will return. Thank you.

Took my wife here to surprise her for her birthday. It was definitely a homerun! The ambiance was great, food presentation was on point. I was slightly bummed that they dind't have one of the Uni dishes I took us there for, and when I asked the sushi chef to improvise something...don't worry about cost, he said he was too busy with the owners party and couldn't be bothered right now. Thought that was a little off, since we were first time customers and dropping some digits for this feast. Everything else was fabulous and we will definitely return.

Food was okay. The Brussels sprouts were the best of what we ordered. Drinks are okay, a couple too sweet. And the beers are small. It was a new place for us to try and it was fine. But I won’t be returning any time soon.

Such a disappointing experience. The sushi was not fresh. The appetizers were just ok and small portions. Another pretentious restaurant. So expensive for what you get. I can get fresh sushi in Long Beach for a quarter of the price of this place. Don’t waste your time or money here. The yelp reviews are misleading. Also the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in an elegant modern night club, but go look around the corner near the bathrooms where you will find the emergency exit with stacks of chairs, carts and kitchen supplies blocking it… who runs this place?

Service was very good. Atmosphere was lovely. The food was just ok. A little greasy. I had a gut ache afterwards. I think they use too much oil and too much salt. I will say the mushroom toast was delicious.

Our meal was delicious! We ordered several rolls, edamame and hot green tea. The tea was way overpriced for a single tea bag in a large pot (yielding a very weak flavor) but everything else was thoroughly enjoyed! Service was slow but friendly, attentive and accommodating. We would definitely return for the yummy food, ambiance and service!

We dined out on their heated patio tonight with our corgi. We enjoyed that the patio was heated. Food overall was just OK, we have had better elsewhere. We do however regret getting the sushi nigiri, the sushi chef did not know how to cut the fish properly because we ordered the toro, salmon belly and the yellowtail belly and they all were tough to chew. Our ribeye wagyu never made it out to the table after waiting over an hour, because one of the food runners ran it to someone else’s table by accident but the manager came to apologize and took it off our bill. Our server Mark was nice but wasn’t thorough and caught that mistake. We also ordered a second round of drinks and our server past by it three times before a different server saw and brought it out to us. Not a memorable experience, so we won’t be back, however glad we tried it we are no longer curious.

I’m a local resident and this restaurant is by far our favorite. We are blessed to be able to walk to and from and it’s in Garden Grove.

It was my first time going there. I looked at reviews and decided to meet a friend there. It was absolutely amazing. I had the cod and it was delectable with soft flakes and a savory taste - it literally melted in my mouth. My friend had the wagyu steak and she bragged about how tasty it was. The service was amazing also - I think my waiter name was Harmon (not sure). I would definitely go there again. Lillian

The food was so bad. The rice in sushi were dried out. The kang pao chicken was bad, potato was bad. Not much food and dessert choices for $70 buffet. Bad experience

You get the feeling that at one point this place used to be nice enough. Right now, it’s filthy, I mean filthy. Look around everywhere and you’ll see it. We sat at the bar and the shelves where they keep the liquor have clearly not been wiped down in a long time, fingerprints, drip stains, it’s just a lot. The food wasn’t bad, but it’s hard to eat at a place that you can tell that no one cares about.

Food was delicious. Our favorite were the chili wontons but there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Korean short ribs were our second favorite. The Kung Pao chicken, although not exactly authentic, was still absolutely delicious. Double hamachi roll - yummy. Brussels sprouts also yummy. The bar was super slow (at least during Friday dinner rush) so if you want to drink more than one drink I’d recommend you order the next when you’re halfway through your beverage. All in all it was a winner!

Great service from entering to leaving. Food quality was great, definitely worth the value. I had the tomahawk steak which was amazing along with a couple other sushi items. Would definitely recommend this place.

Made a last minute reservation while staying at Hyatt. Hostess and server, Alyssa was great, quick and attentive service from start to finish, went with a 5yr old and 1 yr old and they provided us with a high chair. The food was great as well. Will recommend and will be back.

Lively energetic place. The food was ok as with many fusion places. Pork boa was tasty but Dan Dan noodle was not flavorful and the crispy rice had too much rice and presentation was uneven. It will be a fun place to get together with friends on weekends.

Amazing ambience, chic vibes and unique decor. We had calamari, Dan Dan noodle, wings, sushi and wagyu skillet…. Flavor wise food is not too great. Had better flavor elsewhere. Drinks (Hanoi & Beijing) were amazing, would come back for drinks and ambience but not for the food.

Man, those Thai Chili wings were seriously fire! And let me tell you, the vibe at that place was just awesome, like the perfect mix of ambiance and excitement. Oh, and don't even get me started on those Korean short ribs—I was practically licking the plate clean! It was one of those meals where everything just clicked except the duck. I wasn't a fan of that. Overall 9.4/10.

While still within the 15 minute grace period of our reservation, we received a scolding and penalty from the host. Our table was small, which created space issues. We weren’t provided proper steak knives and place settings for our courses. I guess like the plates, we are to share the singular, dull knife for the $74 wagyu ribeye. They forgot to serve the toro tartar sushimi and so I had to ask about it at the end of the meal. Presentation of food on the plate was hit and miss.. the toro tartar being the nicest in appearance that we had ordered.

Food and service was excellent. Best kung pao chicken I've had in a long time. It was a touch too loud but I'm not sure if it was the music or the open concept layout. Either way, it was hard to have a conversation without feeling like we were yelling at each other.

This was our first visit to Nova. The food was great. We started with a shared variety of sushi. After that we each had the Wagyu Filet. It was all super delicious. We will definitely go back again.
