Not Your Average Joe's Kitchen & Bar offers a menu inspired by American cuisine. Its menu is stylish, contemporary and includes fresh oysters, gourmet pizzas, rice bowls and a variety of burgers. During a daily Happy Hour at Not Your Average Joe's Kitchen & Bar, diners can also enjoy both drink and appetizer specials.

Along with an array of beers, its menu includes wines and a wide selection of specialty cocktails. You'll further enjoy a casual and pub-like experience at Not Your Average Joe's Kitchen & Bar. Its décor includes an open kitchen, bench seating and a separate bar area with mounted flat screen televisions all around for watching sporting events.

Not Your Average Joe’s Westwood is located in University Station, Westwood's best new center for entertainment and dining.

It was terrific! Our waitress and trainee were very pleasant ! They were attentive and accommodating ! Our order came out with our special requests in a timely fashion.

Everything is always good there. My salmon was overcooked but truly this was the first time. I love it there.

NYAJ is a chain as you should know going in. Food is good. Drinks are good. Good family spot especially outdoors on a warm night. We had issues with our service - orders wrong and requests slow.

Overall the experience was good, however, we reserved a table in the dining room side for a party of four. When our friends arrived for our reservation (another couple) they were seated on the bar side. We did not know they arrived and after waiting 30 minutes started to worry. We called them to find out why they were late. They advised us they were at the restaurant and already seated in a booth on the bar side! Needless to say we were quite embarrassed and annoyed that we all waited for 30 minutes unnecessarily. The receptionist knew we had arrived earlier, however, I can only assume the news of our arrival and being seated was not communicated to other staff members. Also we specifically requested the dinning room not the bar side. So the staff should have at least seated them in the dining room in which we surely would have seen them. So, it is recommended that reception make note of seated couples waiting for the rest of their party to arrive. Other than that we love Not Your Average Joes.

The NYAJ food is always good, with surprise dishes and appetizers often, so it didn't disappoint this time! Great nachos! The dishes were also good, but the service was okay. It's not bad, but it could be much better. The bread and olive oil took quite some time to arrive, and the waiter kept the table cluttered. It's not the worst, but there is a lot of room for improvement.
