We were seated 20 minutes after our 8pm reservation. We ordered our meals and then waited about 35 minutes for food to arrive. French Fries were mildly warm. Food was good, portions on the smaller side of average. Our server Dylan was spot on and nothing here was his fault. He replaced the fries promptly and apologized a couple of times for how long our food took to come out. Not a great experience.

We enjoyed another fun eve of dining at this well-managed fav eatery. Mustard-crusted chicken, salads, fish & chips…everything is fresh, hot, in generous portions, served by friendly waitstaff. The only issue is noise level. Recently, every table has been filled. The overall noise level makes conversation difficult. Our waitress did get the music volume turned down. We were appreciative.

I was meeting five friends and we had the perfect table. You could talk to everyone. The service was perfect. The waitress didn’t rush us and everyone’s meal was great. Of course the bread in the beginning is outstanding.

Extremely long wait time for my food. Once received, the food was fair (not hot and not very tasty). The restaurant was under staffed this the server was overwhelmed tending to so many tables. While it was my first-time as a patron at NYAJ, I have decided to not go back.

Ordered the Cobb salad which was very fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Also had the cauliflower appetizer, huge portion and delicious. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.

I enjoyed my recent lunch with two friends. The hostess was prompt greeting & seating us. Service was awesome, as always. The mustard crusted chicken with mashed potatoes & green beans fed 2 of us very well. The other dish was fish & chips. It looked incredibly delicious! I’m going to order that NEXT time!

Our server was very good, even when busy. Sadly, the food has really gone downhill here and hasn't rebounded. I use to come here often with a friend. We haven't been back and this last experience confirms it. The good isn't great and the portions small. I had the tuna poke bowl and well over half of it was onion rings, I removed, and rice. VERY little veggies. So sorry but this restaurant has lost its way.

We ate at NYAJs on a Monday evening. It was pretty quiet at the time though I imagine it can get pretty noisy and active at other times. Sam was our waiter and he was very responsive providing excellent service. We started with the cauliflower bites which were very tasty. I had the tuna poke bowl - I like the way the ingredients are individually distributed over the rice so you can combine them as you like and avoid the ones you don't like. My spouse had the mustard chicken - a NYAJ staple. We both enjoyed the food.

My "medium" burger was pretty rare/raw - I sent it back - they cooked me a new one but it didn't fit the definition of medium but I was starving and I could live with medium rare. The waitstaff were wonderful about all of this. They couldn't have been nicer! Their bread and dip is still as I remember - delicious!

Safe bet nothing fancy. Drinks were small and on the weak side for the cost

Food and service was excellent. There were two of us and we were seated in a booth and were there for about 3 hours. We weren't rushed at all to leave.

Waltham location has come back to its pre-pandemic strength with good service and quality food. (Acton location has not. At all.) Had a great business lunch!

Constantly good quality food, never have had a problem. Two people at dinner, on had two glasses of wine, one appetizer, chicken Cesar wrap, salmon dinner, no dessert = $100 including tax, so on the high side for chain restaurant. I plan on going back.

Our waitress Janet was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and really made our experience so much better. She gave us plenty of time to chat and didn’t rush us whatsoever. She was extremely friendly and attentive. Thank you Janet!!

10/10 would recommend! Service, food, and drinks are all wonderful and reasonably priced. Our party of 8 was late arriving and they were very accomodating holding our table. Our server was so kind and genuine, loved her. Highly recommend the Waldorf Salad or the Jumbalaya, both are excellent!

NYAJ Waltham is one of my favorite go-to spots. This was the first time I got to experience their weekend Brunch menu. Great options, and both the food and service was very good.

This is our go to "work lunch" place. The food is good and always consistent. We usually get salads or sandwiches. Restaurant was full but not too busy (Tuesday at lunch time.) Very good experience.

We found a "booth" tucked behind the front desk-allowed great conversations. Service was attentive and the breads are outstanding. We have become regulars -it is NOT your average Joe's...it is an EXCELLENT Joe's.

Honestly I thought the service was not great. Not typical for this location we usually have great service. Not sure if there was a mix up on who was covering our table. If they were short staff I don’t know. It was disappointing for the service. Food was great.
