Everyone has a favorite dish at North. Every day, our Chefs start from scratch to create handmade pizza and pasta using only the best ingredients to craft inspired dishes from the garden, farm, and sea. North defines the standards for handcrafted Italian. Our menu offers a great selection of antipasti (daily soup, charcuterie, bruschetta), salads full of seasonal ingredients, and a main entrée menu driven by both traditional Italian cuisine and lighter fresh fish dishes. North is a great neighborhood spot for family and friends to meet and share a handcrafted experience. From the food to the service, at North every detail matters. Great food! I’ve been to the El Segundo location numerous times, the Santa Monica location didn’t disappoint. Food was tasty as well! Great service.

My party was over 9 people which meant the waiters received 18% tip. The service we received did not justify 18%. Drinks came really late. Inattentive service over all. I found myself having to keep asking for items that should have been bought out to begin with. Food was great but over all, the waiting staff performed mediocre.

On a Friday evening, the food was quite good, but the restaurant was nearly full and very noisy. The size of the crowd was presumably the cause of slow service. Service was, however, very friendly.

I've been to Topanga in restaurant 2 times for lunch w girlfriends & loved the experience. Went to SM locale w my husband & another couple & found it way too noisy & not enough choices for dinner!

It was a busy graduation night and restaurant was busy. However our server was very attentive and was great at taking care of the table. Food was great and reasonably priced. Great experience.
