Brunch was delish BUT you MUST have the Amazing Banana Coffee Cake with the brulee’d bananas and caramel sause! Absolute HEAVEN!!!

Although we had a reservation, we had to wait almost 15 minutes after checking in before being seated. There were numerous empty tables both inside and outside, so this was puzzling. We were seated at the table closest to the kitchen and it was quite noisy. Once seated in took a while for anyone to come to our table. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The appetizer appeared first and they brought our drinks quite a bit later. The server was cheerful and knowledgeable but gave us only minimal service. We all had pasta which was only slightly better than average.

Service could be better. It was slow. Dishes were not cleared. Kept having to ask for drinks. Waiter didn’t smile once. Food is great though.

Having not been to N.Italia for 3 years or so, I made reservations to take my husband for his birthday. He had never been, so I thought it would be a good choice. After being seated, and the server & her trainee arrived, we asked for a few minutes to order a beverage. We asked for water w lemon as soon as they arrived, then had to ask an additional 3 times! Noting the other guests and their servers, they brought water to the table when coming to the table to greet the guests. When we ordered our beverages, they arrived after quite a wait, and not even at the same time. ??? Being that my husband had not been there, he asked for suggestions. After deciding our meal, we asked about bread service. The description sounded like a crispy loaf of bread w good olive oil & herbs. When that came it was 4 pieces of room temp.toasted sliced bread soaked in balsamic vinegar & olive oil. After one bite, we asked that it be sent back. We ordered the caesar & kale salads, entrees were their signature bolognese dish & squid/shrimp pasta. The bolognese was excellent, husband’s dish was “meh”, caesar salad was good, kale salad another “meh”. Our beverages were very good, and again, took forever to get them. All and all, the staff needs a heap of training to get close to other restaurants with well trained wait staff. Slow service, forgetting the basic needs for the table, needing new silver ware for the entrees, etc. We ended up getting new silverware set from a nearby table in order not to have to wait, again. Sorry to cross Northern Italia off the list, unfortunately it’s our last visit.

We always love North! As a SoCal transplant I’ve been going to the Irvine location since it opened and taking friends and family. I’ve relocated to Nashville and so grateful to have our same great spot here locally. Thanks for a great evening! Bring back the Salted Caramel Budino and all will be right with the world 🙏🏼😂

Our server was great but we were sat in the back by the kitchen next to a table of kids climbing all over the place and at one point one of the kids laid on top of one of the members of our group. Lots of open tables open in the restaurant but we were sat next to them. At one point one of the guys in the kitchen took two of the kids to the back and walked them around. Food was great drinks were alright. Ambiance was horrible as this table next to us ruined our dinner experience.

We were sat at a table directly behind the host stand and next to a work station. Should not have a table in that spot as I had to move my chair out of the way of waiter traffic. Food was average at best. My wife and I had pasta entrees that we have both ordered numerous times. There was a noticeable absence of sauce on both dishes. My daughter and son were happy with their entrees. I would pause before coming back….. Server was very attentive and pleasant. Just disappointed with choosing this restaurant for a Mother’s Day celebration, only to be very dissatisfied and disappointed….

Mother’s Day dinner on the patio at North Italia was perfect, excluding a couple of noisy cars passing through the parking lot. We waiting almost 10 minutes for our table to be set up outside despite our reservation- but the wait was worth it given the ambience outside. Food was delayed getting out of the kitchen due to high volume but was delicious.

They were a little busy but wait times for ordering were long, we told waiter our appetizer We wanted and our daughters meal but needed a min to decide on ours. Before we even ordered ours we got the app. Then not long after our daughter’s meal (so she didn’t eat with us) then I had a fly in my drink (which I noticed before taking a sip) I told them I didn’t want a re-make so they removed it from our order… but I feel like a credit or something should have added because well.. that’s gross.

I was meeting friends for a quick bite. Delicious Happy Hour drinks and then dinner. I ordered a Ceasar salad with a side of grilled salmon which was perfectly cooked. One friend ordered a pizza and the other a big salad. Delicious all around. Would recommend!

Made reservations for 5 my son’s birthday. Was seated promptly. Was greeted quickly by our server, got water and beverages and ordered appetizers. Our appetizers came to the table but then we waited 45 minutes for our entrees. We were brought out an appetizer on the house for our wait. We ordered dessert and once again waited. At this point we all just wanted to leave. This is one of our favorite restaurants but today missed the mark especially on a birthday.

Great food, good drinks, good service and very quick. The price of this food is inflated like everywhere else in this category. No drink should cost $20 and pasta with very little chicken shouldn’t be over $20. For two people it was $105 plus 20% tip - I’m not sure what restaurant is worth that much especially for some noodles and sauce.

Wonderful food and service, as always. The Branzino and chicken parm were both delicious, the arugula salad a light and flavorful accompaniment.

It was my husband’s birthday. So we made reservations for it. Foods were great and server’s considering to share foods was very impressive. We will come again with our daughter soon.

Service not great. Waiter had to come back to confirm order. He then forgot to bring two orders of bread with dinner and by the time we got it we were almost done with dinner. He dropped the check then didn’t come back, we had to go find him to tell him two things on our bill were not ours and he said he put another tables food on our bill.

Has never disappointed, no matter the location. Big fan of the kale salad with salmon.

Consistently the BEST Northern Italian style food in Nashville! Been there at least 20 times now over the past year! Service is supreme, food is innovative and authentic! Love love love North Italia!

Our favorite Green Hills restaurant! Love the ambience, and food and service are consistently good. Excellent by-the-glass wine offerings.

Not what I anticipated. Very loud setting. On top of everything, the bench detached from the backing of the booth. Very disappointing when the manager didn’t offer any kind words or care. Will not be returning.

The short rib was delicious but the smashed meatball, ricotta cavatelli and kids cheese burger all left something to be desired. Food was slow to get to the table, the ricotta dish was cold when it arrived. We've had good experiences @ the North Italia in Cool Springs but I don't think we'll be going back to this one for a while.

I ordered brazino but the waitress said they were out. Then she said they had some brazino but another server came back to say they didn’t. I ended up ordering salmon, which was just ok. I then ordered some wine but once again the waitress informed me they were out of my selection. It was not the waitress’s fault and she was pleasant. To their credit, they gave us desert for free. The ambiance was marred by a large table of young women who shrilly laughed and screamed throughout the evening. Not the best experience at North Italia.

Super slow this time. Took a long time to get our water, and then the food felt like it took forever. Our entrees came out cold, but they recooked them for us. When the second go at the meals came out they were good.

Noisy! Seated next to take out order shelf, door dasher was standing next to us in our space for half the meal. Ordered filet- one said was very rare and the other was over cooked. It was chewy and did not seem like a quality steak. Spent $160 and was disappointed.
