Our brunch was excellent. Bellini was fair. It included flat sparkling wine. Very small with tiny tables. Curtains on windows need a good wash. Servers were attentive

We ordered pasta with burrata but it wasn't fresh. It was sour and hard . Burrata should be creamy .I asked two time waiter and runner they don’t even try or take care. It’s ok but I will never choose this restaurant

A solid spot in the West Village off Christopher Street, Nirth Fork offered a bistro style menu, food drinks and service. I was there on a Tuesday night when outdoor table service had just started up for the spring. That made the indoor space less crowded and kept the noise level down. My friend's Char was excellent as was my Cornish hen (and my Bouvardier!). I'll be back.

Reserved there with no prior knowledge of the place Was a very pleasant surprise their happy hour 5-7 was terrific and everything was delicious. The wait staff was so helpful and we will go back.

Our first time at this restaurant. Food was delicious and waiters were attentive and helped with selections. At first, it was a bit noisy, but as a few tables left, the noise level was much more manageable.

The loudest noise category on Open Table is labeled "energetic," which doesn't come close to describing the noise level at North Fork on our visit (Saturday night, full house), which, according to OSHA, was "dangerous to your health." (That is, constantly above 85 decibels -- yes, I measured with a phone app.) Conversation was all but impossible, unless you were willing to yell -- which most of the other diners were, unfortunately. Plus when our waiter wanted to serve our entrees while we were still eating our appetizers, and we asked for another five minutes, we apparently lost our place in the queue and didn't see another morsel for a full half hour. The food was okay to pretty good, but not worth the ambiance and the lousy service. I would only go back during (way) off hours.

Food and service were great but there are so many tables crammed in there, and it was so loud we found ourselves screaming at each other to hear each other.

We live in the neighborhood and decided to try The Northfork. Food was great and the service was excellent. Will definitely come back again

We went early by 6pm and it was still quite. It is a small menu but the food is good. It is a small place, so as we were leaving it was becoming louder. We had a good time.

Excellent choice and great location as we were heading to a show up the block on Christopher . Fun atmosphere and very good food. Would recommend to friends.

Loved the oysters and happy hour drinks, ambiance & service were lovely. The cauliflower entree was underwhelming - just a few ingredients thrown together, but the eggplant lasagna was very nice, as was the kale salad. Would definitely go back.

Small restaurant in West Village - great location. However, the restaurant needs to add some rugs and noise reducing elements to it cuz its so loud, you can't hear your fellow dinners at your table. The kitchen doesn't open till 6pm - would have been good to know that as we had a 5:30 reservation. Food was ok, but expensive for what you got

Would definitely recommend! I love a good brunch deal and the noise level was perfect because we could actually hear each other unlike other spots. Def coming back

Delicious brunch. Definitely go with what the restaurant recommends! I had eggs cooked in a skillet with chorizo and it was superb. The noise is really loud, especially if there's a group. We were having trouble hearing each other and had to quickly eat to go somewhere to have a conversation!

A solid place! Not too fussy, helpful wait staff, good food, good value for the West Village. One small thing: they use handheld devices for taking card payments. That’s fine, I suppose, but if you want to split the bill first, you have to figure out tip on the whole bill yourself, and then allocate it to each card. How it should work, in my opinion, is that you should be able to tell the server how much of the pre-tip bill you want to allocate to each card, and then each cardholder applies tip to their portion of that pre-tip bill. We almost stiffed the server unintentionally because of how they handle split bills in practice. It was an awkward end to what was otherwise a nice time.

Carmine was one of the finest waiters ever! He was exceptionally helpful and sweet from the time I made the reservation to serving up a delicious meal, to helping us connect with our car service, and even helping us into the car in a raging rainstorm. The dinner was delicious. Simply the best!

Always good service, good food and drinks and music! However, the noise level in this tiny place is bonkers! Talking and laughing from fellow diners is so insanely loud, that the music had been turned off. They need some soundproofing panels on the ceiling to make it all make sense.

Excellent pre-theater dinner spot. Fun space across from Lortel Theatre. We had drinks and ordered a lot of starters - charcuterie, whipped feta bruschetta, burrata with grilled veggies, pecorino fries - all delicious. Server was great - super attentive. Would definitely return.

We didn’t get our appetizer because our waiter forgot to put the order in and he only realized it when we asked about it when he brought the main course. The main course was great but dessert was not good as the cake was dry almost as if the piece we got was the last one in the cake and had completely dried out. The service was terrible, e.g. we didn’t get our appetizer, we had to flag our waiter down to get anything, empty plates were left on the table until we asked for them to he picked up, and drinks were never refilled.

We had a reservation for 2 for NYE dinner and it was nothing short of amazing. The food was very delicious especially the Thai Mussels and Truffle Pasta. We also ordered half dozen of the oysters and it was also very delicious. There was only 1 server at that time but he made sure to attend to our every need. The restaurant itself was not noisy but we were seated next to 4 very loud men which was a little annoying. Also, we were seated at a very compact table at the corner but we didn’t really mind.

The brunch was enjoyed by everyone! Delicious food, great staff and great service. We weren’t rushed and enjoyed a leisurely brunch. I had looked up restaurants near the Louise Lortel Theater. North Fork is right across the street. I will return the next time I’m downtown. I will certainly tell my friends to visit NorthFork!
