Located off of Sand Lake Road, along the city's famed "Restaurant Row", NORMAN’S was recently named as the TOP Florida Restaurant in 2024 by Southern Living Magazine, and one of the HOTTEST Restaurants in Orlando by Eater Miami! Norman Van Aken is a restaurateur, chef, author, and James Beard recipient of “Who’s Who in America" regarded as the “Founder” of New World Cuisine.”

Our restaurant offers a creative culinary and mixology experience, including an extensive wine list. We offer our main dining room, two private dining rooms, and our interior bar/lounge. Our elegant, covered Terrace offers alfresco dining, with live music on Friday nights, & a DJ on Friday/Saturday.

HAPPY HOUR Mon-Friday from 5:00- 7:00PM, specials on wines by the glass, wells/cocktails and various small plate creations.
DINING ROOM: Smart Casual/ Smart Dress- jackets are not required.... No Shorts, tanks tops, baseball caps, or flip flops
TERRACE: Resort Casual No gym apparel, tank tops, or flip flops

If you like oysters, don’t even hesitate about ordering them. They were so great!!! The best ones I’ve had in a long time!! Service is really nice and they were kind enough to give me a complimentary drink and small dessert for my bday:) Mushroom risotto and beef tataki was excellent!

Outstanding!! When we arrived we opted to forgo our table and sit at the bar - because we are bar people at heart. . . Shout out to bartender Jeremy for providing us table service at the bar and another shout out to Christian the Somm for not missing a beat in providing us stellar wine service at the bar and even sharing a special taste with us. The food was superb - recommendations were on point. It's especially fun when everyone recognizes your passion for excellent food and wine no matter where you sit! Excellent job Norman's - we will be back!!

Overall a good experience. Restaurant was not very crowded so it was nice and quiet. Service was great for the most part. Food fell a bit short, nothing was outstanding and felt a little overpriced.

If you are planning a special dinner for any reason at all, Norman's is your place. The service was impeccable from the moment we came in the door. Our server Chris was engaging and present but not intrusive and made wonderful suggestions. Pedro did a beautiful job orienting us to the olive oil with herbs for the focaccia. And we very much appreciated that the Chef de Cuisine dropped by to congratulate my friend on her new job that we were celebrating. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Norman’s was always a favorite of ours but I feel that since the move to the new location it just has never regained the food standard and atmosphere it had before. Value for money it is just not there anymore

The food is outstanding. Classic dishes with creative twists. This was my second time at Norman’s and have had great experiences both times. The scallops and fried green tomatoes are my favorites. Cocktails were pretty good but not great. Would probably do wine next time.

It was certainly a slow night at the restaurant for Thursday, but it actually worked out perfectly for us because we felt like we were the center of attention! Our waiter was amazing, attentive, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful. The drinks were fantastic and the food was amazing. I just wish I took pictures to post on here as well. We will definitely be back!

Service by far was top-tier. The food however, was very mediocre. Mid. The flavors combinations of the fusion dishes are confusing to the palate and don’t necessarily complement each other well. The dishes came out at room temperature, and for the price I expected them to be spectacular. They were not.
