Absolutely loved Nori and wish we could go there everyday! The food was amazing, like witchcraft. We loved all of the dishes we tried. The service was wonderful, Vera made our experience very special!

I love this restaurant, the food is always amazing and I’ve never had something I did not like here. The only thing I have to knock them for is rushing us out after being there for under 2 hours, while we were still enjoying our dinner and time. We were seated at 7:15 and got a nudge to leave at 8:45.

We had the absolute best service last night - love our waiter, he's waited on us a few times and is the best! The food is phenomenal and this is probably the 10th visit we've made in the last year; we just keep coming back because the food, drink and service remains consistent. Happy hour is also worth making. We spent about $55 a person with drinks and food, leveraging a few HH items and 1/2 off bottle of wine night. We'll be back!

So good I briefly considered moving to Texas for it! The server was fantastic in her recommendations, the drinks were great and all the food was absolute perfection. Thank you for this gem!

We were dining to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday. We had a tall table, but it was very comfortable, especially the stools. Cushy, in fact. Great service, and delicious vegan sushi! We have dined there many times, just us, or with friends, and have found it a great dining experience each time. The mocktail I had was delicious (their lavender tea with lemon and mint) and the hot lava cake with oat-based ice cream is an amazing dessert! We love this place.

Wow! As San Francisco Bay Area natives, we have had a lot of excellent Japanese food. This is the most perfectly delightful repast that we have ever enjoyed. The tempura was perfect with a light breading that wasn’t too oily. The sushi was fantastic! An absolutely beautiful faux salmon looking one draped with a tomato and served with a delicious sauce. Another wonderful dish was the lions mane mushroom cutlet served with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The service was spot on—our server was delightful, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Their cocktail list is amazing. The plates and glassware were beautiful and the decor is sophisticated but warm. I did wish that we had had cloth napkins but considering how perfect everything was, I probably shouldn’t even mention it. The only thing that brought them down to 99% perfection was the provision of a plastic to-go container for our leftovers. Best ever and vegan! Don’t let this place ever close! Patronize it. It will forever be the first stop in Austin for us.

I had booked this place for my sisters 20th birthday dinner - mind you she is a college student. This place made her pay a $25 cake fee because we brought a cake to celebrate her. I have dinned at many restaurant and they usually waive this fee given its a celebration. We also had a party of 16 ppl which is great business for Nori and still they decided to make her pay an obscure fee when we brought the cake its not like they provided this to us! Crazy! Definitely would NOT recommend a birthday dinner here if this is how the birthday girl is getting treated.

Dear guest Thank you for choosing our establishment for your sister special dinner. As a restaurant we don't allow any outside food including desserts. As we have desserts on our menu. In case the guests want to provide their own dessert we do charge a fee for it. It is common practice in the restaurant business. This fee covers, the store of the cake in the refrigerator area, presentation with the candles if desired, cutting and plating of the cake in the kitchen, and then leftovers are packed. As far for the gratuity fee is for any party bigger than 6 people and it is stated on our Open table profile prior to booking. Thank you again - Team Nori

An alarm went off inside the restaurant and kept going for quite a while. This made part of the experience not quite as enjoyable.

This place is always delightful. I’m not vegan and love this place. The food is so full of flavor and has this crisp freshness to it in a way I can’t explain. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my experience. I made a reservation and put in the notes that we preferred to be away from most people in the restaurant and we wanted to be as secluded as possible. The hosts put us almost right in the middle of the restaurant and around very loud neighboring tables. It was NOT busy when we came in. There was probably three or four other tables groups. Then the waitress (Tressa?) seemed very impatient with us and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. She then proceeded to come to our table in total 3 times for our duration of the meal while other waiters were filling our glasses and bringing us food. We were there for about a hour and a half. The tempora was good and came out really fast so that’s a positive. The California roll was probably the best thing I had from the whole meal. The curry was average. I probably could make it the same or better at home. The yabisoba noodles were painfully average but looked like it should have been better. So with an appetizer, a sushi roll, two mains, and dessert (along with a $15 tip) it all came out to over $100 and it was very much NOT worth that price. Especially when you have your staff hovering around the bar, talking and laughing while drinking from their tumblers instead of tending to tables. Food was very average and I probably won’t go there again. They might think their food is worth that much but it really isn’t. For that price it HAS to be better than something you can make at home. Also, I can’t help but think that if my boyfriend and I “looked” like good tippers we would have received better service. I struggled tipping after that meal and experience. So overall, super disappointed and not worth the money.

Been here for dinner a few times, this was a first Sunday brunch visit and it did not disappoint. Delicious, flavorful, and absolutely impeccable staff, always. Easy parking too. Will definitely be back, of course.

Not a fan. Doesn't make any attempt to even stay remotely true to Japanese food. Don't even get me started on the outrageous prices for the mere morsels of food they serve. HARD PASS.

First time ever going to a vegan restaurant and I was absolutely in love. I wish there restaurant was bigger the space is a little awkward as far as parking. The restaurant was beautiful and gave me all the vibes I needed to enjoy a solo birthday dinner. I was greeted at the door upon entering and was able to change from patio area to eating at the bar. The bar staff were so hospitable and welcoming. I felt like royalty honey. Both bartenders made me some fabulous drinks and the entire atmosphere was energetic but subtle (not too loud). One of the bartenders recommended some small plates the Brussels sprouts and something else (I cannot remember atm). My food came out hot and fast! The presentation was chef’s kiss! Food was so flavorful and delicious. Will be going back for sure, next time I am in town!

Our second time to visit Nori, and this time was a lunch date with my beautiful wife - we were not disappointed! We both actually thought it was even better than our first visit. The food quality and taste were ON POINT!! Service was quick and very friendly, and also found out that some lunch items are not available on the dinner menu and we took advantage of that. Only note is that lunch prices are on the higher side and would like to see Nori provide some lunch specials. We’ll be back!

In my group, four $14-$16 cocktails were ordered and all of them tasted watered down. A couple friends ordered $3 Topo Chicos and were served flat Topo Chico in a glass poured from an open bottle that we saw when they were breaking down the bar. Food was okay, but ultimately lacking value for the price point. Restaurant was beautiful and staff was nice.
