A twist on tradition with a hint of nostalgia, carefully curated by our Head Chef our picnic for two is a combination of homemade sweet and savoury delights. Enjoy a selection of bite-size delicacies from our Passionfruit & Coconut Dark Chocolate Roulade to our Hand-raised Game Pie with Piccalilli all served on a miniature picnic table. Take in Edinburgh’s iconic landmarks from our rooftop lounge whilst you indulge in Our Picnic. Please be aware that this experience is available for groups of 2 and 4. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any allergies or dietary requirements.

Paying for the amazing view, lovely champagne but nibbles not the best for the price, kids not allowed have mocktails but lovely place for a little sip champagne and look over the city

Food was better last time. Small bites, big prices. But overall it was a great place to go for cocktails. They do cocktails other than the ones on the list (all the classics). I will go back!

This has to be the best place in Edinburgh for Champagne. Great views, wonderful attentive staff and of course reasonably priced Champagne

Great food, drinks and the cocktails are excellent. Has an amazing view of the Edinburgh skyline, does not really matter where you sit there is a great view. Would highly recommend as small plates and champagne/ cocktail meet up location. The service from the staff was also really good, can't fault anything!

We didn’t eat on this occasion. We only marked down because no nibbles provided free of charge. When you’re paying the prices in the loft you would expect nibbles to be free. Otherwise perfect!

Beautiful restaurant with rooftop views over Edinburgh. We had the fondue which was ok but so overpriced. Very attentive service though.

We have eaten all over the city, country & beyond. be hard to find better , although a limited menu, it’s executed perfectly, service was excellent , amazing views of the city ,with a intimate feel

Nice ambience and great views. Good place for drinks with a convivial atmosphere where you can hear yourself think and have a good conversation. Service was great and drinks nice, very much Edinburgh prices but the Old Fashions were very good!! We did not eat here so need to try this next time.

It was my birthday and not even a happy birthday been told. I was very happy to go there and i certainly won't go back as it was an ok drink and ok service. Shame. Nice location.

Booked a table for drinks with a friend. Seated quickly on arrival, table with great views onto Princes Street. Good choice of cocktails, little bit different to standard offerings, same for bar snacks. Very attentive staff, and lovely buzz about the place. Will be back.

Booked Nor Loft cheese fondue experience as a celebratory lunch with my mum after some good news! It was a Friday afternoon at 1pm & what can I say, it was wonderful! It was so special. The views are stunning, the staff are so lovely & the fondue was delicious! We had a bottle of champagne (Paul Roger) which was perfect but yes, pricey. The restaurant was quiet at that time but it was perfect for us. Nobody rushed us when we finished so we sat & enjoyed another glass of wine soaking up the wonderful views! Just book it!!!

Good food and drinks and a very friendly staff --also a beautiful view of the city. Perfect place to enjoy food and good company in a very relaxed ambiance. We had the cheese fondue and loved it!!

Lovely place but we were in for over an hour and were only offered one drink. They weren’t busy either. The waitress who did serve us seems to be exasperated by us and just seemed like she couldn’t be arsed. We are very polite friendly people so couldn’t understand her attitude. If we had been demanding arseholes could understand it. So nice place, nice location but the bar went to afterwards would be the bar we would recommend to friends not this one.

We did not eat at Nor loft , but went for drinks. Champagne was served as it should and price per bottle for what we had was not unreasonable for such a prime venue. Will certainly return again.

Really liked this place - can't believe I didn't even know it was there! Service was great - drinks delicious and so was the food. Definitely going back during the week for the cheese fondue!

Not really applicable - just had crisps as snack: vg. Cocktails nicely presented and enjoyable.
