A twist on tradition with a hint of nostalgia, carefully curated by our Head Chef our picnic for two is a combination of homemade sweet and savoury delights. Enjoy a selection of bite-size delicacies from our Passionfruit & Coconut Dark Chocolate Roulade to our Hand-raised Game Pie with Piccalilli all served on a miniature picnic table. Take in Edinburgh’s iconic landmarks from our rooftop lounge whilst you indulge in Our Picnic. Once booked, we will be in touch to take payment to guarantee your reservation which is required 48 hours prior to your visit. Please be aware that this experience is available for groups of 2 and 4. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any allergies or dietary requirements.

Really nice space for cosy drinks! Had some cocktails which were excellent - served quickly, tasted great and were strong. Staff were attentive without being overbearing and were friendly and professional.

The food was expensive for what we got. The service was ok. Not what I expected based on the location and surroundings.

booked a table here for drinks - was nice, fairly quiet. The two young gentlemen that served us were delightful and brought complimentary chocolates and a card with a lovely message for my birthday.

A lovely way to celebrate a close friends 30th. The waiting staff are outstanding. Great prices for a champagne bar too!

Perfect - we were lucky enough to manage to get a table out on the balcony. The weather had been sunny and warm, so this was perfect. Fabulous views over the city, the table service was excellent, they knew just the right times to come up and offer more drinks, they even suggested some interesting cocktails- which were lovely. We never ate any food, but I’m sure it would just as lovely. We will be back, thank you.

Just so classy, expensive but worth it for a special occasion, beautiful dining room with a lovely view of Princes Street, we ordered champagne and cocktails and, oysters and bites, everything is presented beautifully and the service is excellent, this was our 3rd visit and definitely not our last
