At Noona Meat & Seafood located in Parsons Alley in Historic Downtown Duluth, we showcase New American cuisine highlighted by fine meats & seafood favorites. We take pride in sourcing from the Southeast's best purveyors. The restaurant is centered around an open kitchen with a 9 foot wood burning hearth.
Our Bar features craft beers, inspired signature and classic prohibition era cocktails and an extensive and interesting wine list. Noona is a 2018-2020 Opentable Diner's Choice Award Winner. Gwinnett Magazine awarded Noona Best of the Best in the Steakhouse, Seafood and Romantic Restaurants categories in 2019.

Food was very good, oysters good, lettuce wrap, chicken and short ribs. All was very good. Whiskey sour for the drink, no egg whites, but the drink was still very good. Service was fast and friendly.

Our waitress was personable and informative (it was our first time dining here). The food was fine, but expensive for what we got/the taste. We also had to order everything all at once, which felt rushed instead of allowing our group to sit, order drinks and appetizers, and chat while deciding on dinner.

The experience was spectacular! They truly went above and beyond with their service and accommodations! The food was also incredibly flavorful and well executed - hats off to the chef! Looking forward to going back!

Service was amazing and my entre, grilled salmon and kimchi fried rice, was also outstanding. I did some oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer— I wasn’t a big fan of those … they weren’t on the shell and there was too much of some kind of white sauce and breadcrumbs on them. Prob just standard grilled or raw on the half shell would’ve been a better choice.

Arrived with a reservation, got seated immediately. Ordered drinks which came out quickly. Ordered food and waited… nothing came out. We did not see one entree the entire time we were there. Starters came out quickly to other tables. We were there for one hour and asked for the check. Manager never came to check why we were leaving. We didn’t get to try the food we were excited about. It seemed like they were more concerned about the large party that came in after us than attending to us. We probably won’t try this place again.

TLDR: was very mid for the price point, wouldn’t go back. My partner and I had dinner there last night. We ordered an app, and the surf and turf, and cocktails. We were expecting a fine dining bill but also a fine dining experience. The gochugang shrimp scampi had 4 shrimp for $18. The server upcharged us for things she said were no charge, like switching from collards to corn on the surf and turf, and the two olives in my martini each were a dollar. Our steaks were great, the lobster was pretty overdone and almost tough. The mashed potatoes were phenomenal, the highlight of the meal. All told, with tip, we spent $227 for a meal that felt like it should have cost considerably less for the quality of service and food we received. I probably wouldn’t go back considering the many other great offerings in Duluth.
