I’ve never ordered a Cesar salad and not been immediately offered pepper. I’ve never ordered a classic Italian entree and not been offered fresh Parmesan. Could have been a pretty good meal, but when you can’t get the basics right it’s not worth a second visit with so many other choices within a block or two.

We love nonnina! The fritto miso and prosciutto pizza are great starter apps, especially with the basil pesto caper dip with the fritto misto. The homemade pastas are also incredible - especially the short rib pappardelle. Staff is nice and it’s great for chicago visitors or weekday dinners!

Meat and cheese tray had three pieces of cheese and about five slices of meat… rest was three artichoke hearts and some grape tomatoes and miscellaneous other garnishes…. Not worth the price at all…. Didn’t serve any bread until we asked and finally served it minutes before entrees… one entree was made wrong and it took them 15 minutes to bring it out…the rest of us had mostly finished our entrees… carbonara and ravioli and chicken Parmesan were average… would not go again…

Delicious food and cocktails! Went for happy hour at the bar then sat down for dinner after. Pizza was great as an appetizer and the Rigatoni with meatball was amazing.

Decent lunch but staff had zero desire to serve: no smiles, no small talk and no personality. Questions were answered reluctantly. Only a few customers, I can see why.

We have had nothing but great food and service. This is our second visit, and it was just as good as our first time. I deal with multiple food allergies, and they haven’t even batted an eye at accommodating me. We plan on bringing more friends with us each time we visit so that others can experience what they have to offer!

Pizzas too greasy to our taste. Pepperoni tasted too distinct of pork. Bread was dry (cut long time in advance). Wines were served at high temperature. A totally different experience than last time, where we were impressed.

Outstanding in every way. The arancini and burrata appetizers were amazing! Pasta dish also amazing. Pizza was good but we will try something else next time. Completed the meal with the flourless chocolate lava cake—I want to go back just for this! Gilberto was amazing —we’ll ask for him again!

I’m a Chicago local and this is my favorite restaurant in the city. The food is always outstanding, and the lunch is surprisingly great. The vodka rigatoni is always out of the park.

This was our first time here and it was wonderful. Friendly & attentive staff all around. We had an appetizer from the nightly special list & it was the star of the evening. Great cocktails & nice wine list. Well worth it!

The dining areas are beautiful and classic. We really enjoyed the cheese board and the arugula pizza. The best part was the service -- our server was helpful, funny, efficient, made great wine recommendations, and seemed to genuinely enjoy his work.

Egg plant parm and meatballs were bland. Calamari fritti and squid ink pasta was amazing (asked for extra seafood…. If I didn’t the ratio would’ve been way too carb heavy). Service was great (get a booth by the bar. Bartender was our server)
