What began thirty years ago, as a four month traveling trip, culminated in what is today, a menu designed to take you to many cultures -- the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia and Latin America -- tied together by what a meandering, somewhat adventurous backpacker -- a Nomad -- would want to eat.

Nomad Eatery celebrates vibrant dishes found all over these regions, respecting the indigenous flavors, and doing it all in a modern way.

Nominated as Best New Bar and named one of the Top Six New Restaurants in Los Angeles in 2021, Nomad includes a full bar, inventive cocktails, curated wine list, and features abundant seating including a fireplace and heated outdoor dining area.

REALLY GOOD food. Spices and flavors are on point. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restrooms were clean as well as the premises. Restaurants are getting expensive everywhere, so it’s on par with other places, but the flavors make you feel like you are getting something for your money. This has been my third time here and I have sampled 9 dishes now, none have disappointed (because people at the table aid, “wow, you’ve got to try this,” not because I ordered three meals for myself each time.) Spacious inside (not crammed in like sardines) BUT space is still small, so dinner time is not best to go for a quiet evening. Afternoons are better for that. Energetic vibe makes this an exciting place to meet people that are looking to start the night off with a bang or to cap it off with an up note.

Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Met the owner too and it’s very clear he is passionate and proud of his food. You can taste that on the plate. Highly recommend.

Great tasting food. We had the roasted cauliflower with tahini sauce, lamb kebabs and the salmon salad. Wine selection was great with a couple of really good Spanish reds

Not related to NoMad hotel restaurants. Not terrible place here. They are trying to make the dishes you see at award winning restaurants around, but just not doing it as well.

Great ambiance and the service was amazing. The happy hour specials were delicious. The roasted artichoke…I could have eaten 5 of them. Extreme yumminess!

My husband and I work in the El Segundo area throughout the year and we're always looking for a new place. Nomad was a great experience - quiet and very nice atmosphere (granted, we came at a quiet time of the day), attentive staff, delicious food, and a very yummy signature cocktail. We will definitely be back for another visit next time we're in town!
