Nobu Downtown is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District designed by NYC’s celebrated architect, David Rockwell. On the ground level, guests can enjoy open air-like experience in our Broadway dining room or Bar & Lounge dining framed by 30 foot heroic limestone columns. Our sub terrain dining room provides intimate ambience with sushi bar and private dining options. Indulge in Chef Nobu’s famous signature dishes including Rock Shrimp Tempura and Black Cod Miso as well as traditional Japanese favorites and sushi.

The restaurant definitely lived up to its reputation. The food was delicious. I didn’t know shrimp could taste that good and I eat shrimp weekly! I’m thinking what the heck have I been eating??? The miso cod was equally delicious. Service was great! One of the best experiences I’ve had!

It was my first time to dine out in NOBU. I'm sorry that I don't remember our server's name, but she was fantastic and very helpful to choose what to order. No complaints for our waitress. What I wasn't happy about was that there was no sign for wheelchair access way at the entrance. We made a reservation at 5:30 pm Sunday night and it was raining outside. My friend on a wheelchair and I had to walk back and forth to find a way into the restaurant. Then we were seated very near entrance door even though there were plenty of seats available. Anyway, I requested to change our seats and they finally seated us a bit inside. After we were done, we had to walk around the building back and forth again to find someone to unlock the door to way out to the street.

The food here is delicious. Our favorite is the crispy rice with salmon - soooo good! And black Cod miso- I think they are the restaurant that started the trend. Fun, lively space in the dining room downstairs- energetic, but no so loud you can’t talk at your table. They were extra great with my daughter who was celebrating her birthday with her friends. (and they all loved the donuts at dessert!)

Prior to dining at Nobu, I heard so much things about this restaurant. Finally being able to dine here, it was such a great recommendation. The dining staff was very nice and helpful. The food, it was amazing. For anyone that is a 1st timer like me, you have to try the Black Cod Miso, Crispy rice with spicy tuna (wasn't very spicy) and the tacos (had the wagu and lobster). It was so good. I will definitely be going back and trying other dishes on the menu.

food was outstanding - have not enjoyed it this much in many years. I was especially stuck by the temperature of the food, enhanced the flavor dramatically. I know they've only recently opened for lunch -- maybe they were short staffed but service was super slow and we ended up unable to order dessert because lunch was over 2 hours. Food is outstanding - lived up to the reputation. Nice to see such a robust lunch crowd.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration dinner. Of course the food was beyond delicious but what really stood out was the service and the pacing of the meal. We were a large group and our server and her team paced each course perfectly. It didn't feel rushed at all but we were never lacking for something delicious to try and experience. Kudos!

Truly lives up to their reputation, a quality dining experience! I was impressed with every dish, every bite was my favorite bite. Impeccable service. Low lighting ambiance really sets the mood if you’re planning to come for date night.

Nobu is a World renown restaurant. It is number one in Sushi Over every other restaurant. Every person that works there is a professional and treats this like a true career when it comes to Customer Service. Lin Is probably the best sushi chef I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten in all, but one Nobu’s in the United States. He is by far and amazing person and chef. When New Orleans opens, I will be there and I’ll test it out. Thank you again for making every experience at Nobu downtown. The best could possibly be.

The staff were incredible! You MUST try the desserts, definitely the highlight of the experience. The tacos and toro hand roll is a must. Will be back, no doubt!

I have enjoyed Nobu downtown for many years (Hudson and also Broadway). My lunch Reso at 1:30 yesterday left us feeling rushed. We all arrived on time, and were told almost immediately that we should order pronto because the kitchen was going to be closing. Our food was rushed , server was abrupt a number of times and basically wanted us to order dessert when we just started our meals. We skipped dessert as to not inconvenience the server’s own pending break / meal. Check came super quickly. As we left, we and one other table of customers were surrounded by the entire staff eating their dinners. This was not a liquid lunch, we weren’t on our phones, just enjoying an otherwise special lunch. DISAPPOINTED..

This was the best meal I have ever had! The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorable. The drinks were so delicious and the donut dessert was to die for. I will definitely be back!

Very salty and acidic food compared to the previous times I’ve eaten here. They’ve definitely fallen off the map and I think its name exceeds itself now. Will not be dining here anymore

We went for our Anniversary and it was by far one of the best meals we've ever had. The waitress was so patient and explained everything to us, she made recommendations that were spot on. We had the Black Cod and the Brussel sprouts...so so so good! It was truly amazing!

Our server Annie was incredible. Authentic and friendly. Very attentive and made amazing recommendations. The only downside to the visit was the hosts walking around with iPads and tracking when tables were finishing. It was noticeable and made it uncomfortable- as if we needed to rush. Next was noise level. It was loud. Beyond that it was a great experience.
