Nobu Downtown is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District designed by NYC’s celebrated architect, David Rockwell. On the ground level, guests can enjoy open air-like experience in our Broadway dining room or Bar & Lounge dining framed by 30 foot heroic limestone columns. Our sub terrain dining room provides intimate ambience with sushi bar and private dining options. Indulge in Chef Nobu’s famous signature dishes including Rock Shrimp Tempura and Black Cod Miso as well as traditional Japanese favorites and sushi.

    Nobu NY Downtown was exactly the food quality and the beautiful restaurant that you'd expect out of any part of the Nobu chain. Some of the better food I've eaten in the city for an expected price. Sushi and caviar quality is quite good, comparable to lower-end Michelin star sushi - didn't eat any of the hot entrees. Restaurant itself is beautiful, albeit in a basement, so there are no windows.

    Food was good but the acoustics in the downstairs area is very poor. The noise levels were very high making it difficult to have a conversation. Service was spotty, sometimes the server was on top of things but then we’d have big gaps in time. One of our meals went to the wrong table and had to be remade. The check had to be adjusted because someone else’s meal was on our check but the server did notice that and proactively redid the check. This was our anniversary dinner and we left very disappointed. I had been to this location multiple times and had better experiences on those visits. For the price I paid I expected better.

    Nobu never disappoints! We sat upstairs in the lounge area and absolutely loved it! Service was top notch and the food was superb!

    Great meal with my son for his birthday. They know how to do it. Pure and simple that if you are on the fence about going to Nobu don’t be!!!

    It’s a place to take someone to impress. Ambiance is cool. Food was creative but way overpriced for what you get. Portions are small.
