Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

The food was good. Our main server was not as attentive as she should have been (I.e. not noticing empty drink glasses). She was seen standing, talking with coworkers and I eventually got her attention by raising my hand. We expected more and will not be back.

Had such a wonderful time at Nobu on Mother’s Day. The brunch menu was exceptional. Something for everyone and every item was scrumptious! I’m not a big brunch fan but this will definitely bring me in for brunch again. The staff was on point and very attentive. Thank you for making my day very special.

The service was good and the restaurant was pretty empty (about half full) for Mother’s Day brunch hours around 2pm. Portion sizes are very small. If the butter lettuce salad is $29, the expectation is that I get a decent amount of salad. However the taste of the salad was good. The French toast was one slice of bread with 7 pieces of sliced banana on top - whipped cream and syrup is served on the side. Good thing we ordered this for a child and not an adult. I’ve never seen a French toast dish for almost $30 with one slice of bread. This was my second time here but it is hi go my unlikely that I go back, especially not for brunch. My guests ordered other dishes which were ok. However one guest was vegan and they were not able to serve him any vegetables stating that they “didn’t have any”.

Delicious food (breakfast). Service was good until they forgot items we ordered and charged us for items we didn't get. It was human error but could've been avoided if waitress just paid attention.

Black Cod, lobster roll, caramel dessert just great. Service team really talk and coordinate when to visit, how to serve, and their timing was impeccable. I think for the price, the tables could be better. Mine rocked! Couldn't hear anything given the ambience. I will return but I will require a better table. Great job guys!

Absolutely perhaps the worst service I’ve ever had at any restaurant in the past 10 to 15 years! Anywhere. Food - Same Nobu quality. Service and wait and lack of service - terrible! We will never be back.

I’ve been to Nobu in LA and had a wonderful experience. But would love to challenge this location in Atlanta to uphold dress code policies to all guests not just some and to update their website accordingly. I’m not sure I’ll go back to this location but may try others in the future.

We went on a Sunday night. The food was really good but the service was pretty terrible, especially given how expensive it is. We were consistently waiting longer than you'd expect for the most basic things & had to on a number of occasions try to find any waiter to help address even the most basic things. If the restaurant was busy that would be one thing but it was pretty empty on a Sunday night. Seems like they have a number of kinks to work out before I'd recommend coming here for a meal. The quality of the service was sufficient to ruin an evening out that we were looking forward to.

The waitress did a phenomenal job explaining all the items on the menu. She recommended some of her favorites which turned out to be our favorites. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be coming back with just our family or maybe a group of more. Thank you very much.

First time at Nobu and it was a phenomenal experience! Every single dish was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The service was excellent and contributed to an excellent dining experience. Special thanks to Alex our server, she was excellent and really helped make this one of the best dining experiences ever.

This was my first visit and I loved the experience. Everyone was genuinely welcoming and courteous and the ambiance was enjoyable (good mix of patrons and great people watching if you're into fashion). We enjoyed a drink at the bar before going to our table and Jenni served the most flavorful spicy marg I've ever tasted. I highly recommend ordering one- it was sweet, savory, and spicy! Dinner was excellent and our server, T, made excellent recommendations, from the special cucumber cocktail to the shrimp tempura in jalapeno sauce, which was the BOMB! So many choices and flavors to choose from the menu... there really is something for everyone. The portions were perfect for sharing. We also had the crispy rice with salmon (excellent), miso cod (flaky and sweet), crispy fish tacos (I wish I ordered more- they were bite-sized deliciousness), and the miso truffle rice (this portion was enormous). This was a perfect first impression and I look forward to returning. 10 out of 10.

My hubby and I love Nobu and have visited in NY, Dubai, Las Vegas and Atlanta for no occasion and for special occasions. This time it was our anniversary. The food was great as was the service. We really enjoyed it. The only thing is that when I talked to the server about an anniversary desert, I expected it it to be comped as has been done at other locations and similar restaurants when we go for an occasion. That was slightly disappointing after all that we spent

Such a wonderful way to celebrate my 40th! Went on a girls night with my sister and everything was impeccable from service to food. Yes, it is pricey but if you can splurge for something delicious I would pick Nobu. The wasabi salad, baby corn and tempura veggies were great. The lobster tacos were the most adorable thing ever! The miso black cod and hot stone wagyu beef were very rich but probably some of the most delicious things I’ve ever had to eat in Atlanta. I prefer smaller portions and more options to one giant plate of food that most steakhouses and Atlanta restaurants give you. The chocolate filled donuts and vanilla miso cake were ridiculously delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try some more things we didn’t get to order.

I visited Nobu with four friends for a birthday celebration and we had an amazing experience! The service was impeccable - attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. The food was a culinary delight, especially the BAKED LOBSTER TRUFFLE SHICHIMI 'GRATIN' and sushi selection. Everything felt well-paced and festive, perfect for our special occasion. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make their celebration extra memorable!

It wasn’t great. Our Dallas location is much quieter so we were surprised by the loudness of the restaurant and it wasn’t the vibe we were needing for our team dinner. We were all pretty tired after a big project and I had gifts and remarks for them. We were sat at a wobbly table right in the center. First question to our server was because it was so loud and we were hoping for a quieter table. We had to repeat the question because she couldn’t hear us. We asked to be moved to an area with several open tables around the corner. She brushed that off pretty quickly with a “we’re reserving those tables tonight” and of course they stayed empty for the rest of our stay (we were among the last to leave b/c of how long our night ended up taking). We already knew we wanted an omakase menu but it took our server a good 45 minutes of circling back around to us before she really believed that’s what we wanted and gave me a quote of $225/person to which we promptly said, “yes, please.” Having experienced that in L’anai and also Dallas and reading on-line that the Atlanta location offered it, that’s why we were there… The I was extremely disappointed in our very expensive visit to Nobu Atlanta.

The first time I went Nobu it was exceptional. The the service and food were impeccable. Last night my service was about as bad as I have ever had. After waiting a while on my server I finally had to go to a service station to get my own soy sauce. We had to wait an extremely long time for our steak because the server did not put it in when requested. When the steak finally came out it was overcooked. Our server asked if we wanted dessert which we answered yes too, he then brought us our check.

Food and ambience were nice. Didn’t like how the staff yells welcome Japanese when guests are walked to their table. We giggled that it was like a “welcome to Moe’s!”. The wait staff was sporadic- I’d prefer one dedicated person instead of several that didn’t communicate with each other. Food was great. Many patrons were dressed in sweatpants which was off putting.

Nobu never disappoints. It is disappointing that they don’t include some complimentary birthday dessert but our server, Britney was attentive and very pleasant! We had a great meal!

This is my second time at NOBU. Booked this reservation for my husband’s birthday. Didn’t really care for where we were seated although I requested an area weeks ago. The wait time to get our first order of sushi was pretty lengthy. A much larger table with close to 10 people were seated after us and got their food first. Maybe it’s because they are a “celebrity”. The waitress said orders were taking longer because of a couple corporate events. Compared to my first experience at NOBU , our waiter last night barely came to our table. I pretty much had to track other restaurant staff to ask for my son’s drinks and our food. She spent most of her time at the table directly across from us. The food was good except for the “Rock Shrimp Tempura Creamy Spicey”. Both of us got really bad heartburn from that dish. Overall I would go back but not anytime soon. I also noticed that although hats are prohibited from the restaurant, “certain people” were allowed to wear them. i.e. “celebrities”
