Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

Overall the food was amazing. On the other hand. the service was horrible. Took 20 minutes after being sat to even have someone come talk to us. Then it took forever just to get the server to come order more food or drinks. For this price more much better going somewhere else. Like I said the food was amazing but the service is horrible.

Nobu is always a vibe, however, I wish a dress code was strictly enforced. In other cities Nobu is an upscale vibe- street wear, joggers and jeans diminish the ambiance and brand.

As my first time experiencing this type of restaurant I was overly impressed. The ambiance is amazing and the decor is sophisticated. Our waiter Mario made our visit exceptional by explaining the menu, suggesting dishes, and being attentive the whole time we were there. I will definitely be a returning guest.

The food was good. Our main server was not as attentive as she should have been (I.e. not noticing empty drink glasses). She was seen standing, talking with coworkers and I eventually got her attention by raising my hand. We expected more and will not be back.

The preset menu for the Mother’s Day Brunch was exquisite. Ambiance gets a dig because we were asked to sit in the bar instead of at a table. The fried chicken did not belong on the menu. It was hideous compared to the culinary delights served on the prefixed menu. But I suspect you already know that.

Had such a wonderful time at Nobu on Mother’s Day. The brunch menu was exceptional. Something for everyone and every item was scrumptious! I’m not a big brunch fan but this will definitely bring me in for brunch again. The staff was on point and very attentive. Thank you for making my day very special.

The service was good and the restaurant was pretty empty (about half full) for Mother’s Day brunch hours around 2pm. Portion sizes are very small. If the butter lettuce salad is $29, the expectation is that I get a decent amount of salad. However the taste of the salad was good. The French toast was one slice of bread with 7 pieces of sliced banana on top - whipped cream and syrup is served on the side. Good thing we ordered this for a child and not an adult. I’ve never seen a French toast dish for almost $30 with one slice of bread. This was my second time here but it is hi go my unlikely that I go back, especially not for brunch. My guests ordered other dishes which were ok. However one guest was vegan and they were not able to serve him any vegetables stating that they “didn’t have any”.
