The wood panelled restaurant is an intimate, distinctive and cosy retreat. Following an extensive refurbishment, No.35 blends traditional elements, luxurious fabrics and timely touches that reflect the original Georgian roots of the building. We offer a scrumptious 5 course meal on Christmas Day. Why not relax and soak up the atmosphere and then enjoy even more as someone else does the dishes! We offer 2 sittings 12noon arrival for 12.30pm start and 5pm arrival for 5.30pm start. Adults are priced at £140 while children 12 are £75. We are happy to cater for dietaries with advance notice. We shall contact all guests in advance for a deposit of £20 per person on booking. The balance will be payable at the start of December.

The lunch menu had good choices available. Service was 1st class with professional & friendly staff. Presentation and quality of the food was excellent. The hotel ambience was the icing on the cake. An altogether very pleasant experience & Bonhams is now my first choice for lunch when in Edinburgh.

Boozey snoozey is by far the best deal in town. We were dining with friends. All of us have been before and loved it so returned to celebrate our husbands birthdays. Great choice of delicious food, nice wine, good service and a nice friendly atmosphere. There was even a birthday sweet treat for the boys. Well definitely go back.

This West End Hotel offers friendly staff in a convivial ambience with both hotel guests and external diners. The menu is short and succinct and offers a good spectrum across 5/6 starters and mains. No Specials of the day are afforded. Presentation and levels of service were good, however where the restaurant let itself down was in the chef going off piste. We had the smoked trout sushi parcels and heirloom tomatoes as starters. Both of which looked good but were presented in a bed of supermarket Greek yogurt! Quite bizarre. The pork chop yielded little meat and the accompanied apple balls left a strange aftertaste from being dipped in cayenne pepper. The Lamb rump was fatty and served very pink but the worst part was the sides. The French green beans were coated in chilli flakes that killed any taste of the meal. The mashed potatoes were served smoked - but tasted like they had been mixed with an ashtray and left such a bad aftertaste. Not sure what the chef was thinking on this one but for such a short menu it was just really off piste and many components of the meal left such a bad aftertaste. After two bad courses we passed on dessert. Such a shame because the venue is lovely and I have both dined and resided at the hotel previously but this was such a let down. In summary great ambience but in terms of the meal it was over cheffed and under promised.

Stay at The Bonham Hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish. The day began with a delicious breakfast, featuring a wide range of fresh, high-quality foods that catered to every palate. Each morning was made pleasant by the accommodating staff, who ensured everything was just to your liking. Lunches and dinners at the hotel were equally impressive. The hotel's restaurant offered an excellent selection of local and international dishes, made from the finest ingredients. The ambiance in the restaurant was relaxed and inviting, enhancing the overall dining experience. As for the services, The Bonham Hotel excelled in all aspects. The staff was always available, willing, and ready to assist with anything you needed. Whether it was recommendations for local attractions or assistance with booking excursions, the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel's location was also ideal. Situated in a quiet area, it ensured a peaceful night's sleep without the disturbance of city noise, yet it was close enough to major tourist attractions and entertainment options. The rooms at The Bonham Hotel were simply wonderful. Each room was elegantly furnished, offering all the comforts and was well-maintained. Overall, your stay at The Bonham Hotel was a memorable experience, combining exceptional service quality, outstanding cuisine, and a perfect location.

Restaurant atmosphere is quiet and food was ok. Orders management can improve, 3 times we were delivered items that we did not ordered, starters, drinks and bill.
