We go to NM Café as a special treat. This month it was for my birthday. It never fails to delight us. The food is delicious and the service is just incomparable. We’ll be back. We love the popovers and chicken broth to begin. We hope Neiman Marcus never gives up on these traditions.

My husband and I had lunch at the NM Café yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. He ordered the burger (which was cooked to his liking) and I ordered the Kale salad with salmon. Our server was very kind and took good care of us. This restaurant within N-M is so good. Even if I'm not shopping, it is a wonderful place to go and relax.

Maybe I’m just showing my age but to spend over $100 for three of us to have lunch seems excessive when two of us simply got sandwiches! (Pre-tip) The chicken in the chicken salad was a bit tough, my tuna melt was OK, but nothing gourmet about it. Our server was fantastic and very attentive, which saved the dining experience. Very over priced for the quality of the food!

Hi…..all salmon entrees need a sauce……..the salmon…is too dry… Excellent wait staff….excellent table set ups….excellent hostess…. The chocolate layer cake was too dry…..it was ok….but…too dry.. The appetizer..roasted fall squash..was excellent,. Pls bring back your crab Louie salad…….raise the price.. Pleasant restsurant…….Popovers were good….but, on the cold side…we ate them as fast as we could……..thank you…

Been going there since Zodiac opened maybe 35 years ago. No they changed the name but the menus is really limited pretty much to chicken and salmon in almost every entree. Hopefully that will change.

The only tasty thing about our lunch was the popover. The NM Chicken salad was tasteless; the mushroom soup had chunks of cheese in it that weren’t even melted. Service was awful. Not the same restaurant anymore!!

I go here often and it is always great. The day after Thanksgiving was a little crazy and the service was a bit slow but that was to be expected. This cafe and the staff are great. I will continue to go back for a long time. On a separate note I lost a diamond tennis bracelet during lunch. Called the next day and they had it for me. Wonderful staff!

I showed up on time and was sat quickly with my reservation. The waiter gave me a menu and left with my order of water. I believe the workers don’t understand that you can hear them conversing about the patrons they serve when seated near the kitchen. There were some back handed comments about the water I ordered and another guest’s order. I would like to tell those two young men that I could hear everything you were talking about. I was especially aware of the 16 minutes I waited until my order taken regardless of it being dead. Food was ok. Probably better for groups rather than individuals because you can pass the wait with company.

Our meal and service were lovely. However, in our so-called quiet corner, a woman was on her phone with the speaker on. I assume she wanted her companion to hear the conversation. It was loud and painful for us at a table some distance away to hear. We asked her to turn it off and she refused. She claimed we didn’t like her speaking a foreign language. Since I speak 3 languages fairly fluently and two more in which I can survive, I love foreign languages. However, I couldn’t hear words, just the awful screech that speaker phones produce. To spend sixty dollars on lunch and be unable to converse at one’s table is not fair. They ruined the end of a delightful luncheon. Barbara Strona. barbstrona@gmail

We had a wonderful time seated outdoors at the cafe. Waleed treated us professionally and courteously. The salads were delicious. It was cool, calm and peaceful. No jarring ugly music playing. Thank you for a very nice time.

Excellent in all aspects per previous reviews. NM Cafe never disappoints. The popover and consume to start, everything continues to be uphill from there. Henry is a wonderful wait person and the staff is all very attentive.

I love that this old school "ladies who lunch" spot has survived. It is always so special to meet your best friend and have an experience that you will always remember. Priceless ! The food is classic. The cocktails are refreshing and the service is caring.

Our waiter , I think maybe named Jordan? Or started with a J was SUPER NICE AND SUPER PROFESSIONAL! As was the host who seated me. Very outstanding service. Unfortunately, the food was not so great. The popovers seemed a bit overcooked and my chicken salad not so great (the chicken kind felt rubbery and not so tasty). Sorry! I would still recommend and try something else next time.
