Le chef Andy D'Amico utilise la cuisine de la Riviera italienne comme point de départ à son exploration de l'Italie. La « Socca », la spécialité de la maison, vous permettra de découvrir cette crêpe de pois chiches cuite dans un four en briques, une recette traditionnelle de la ville française de Nice. Dans le menu figurent une merveilleuse sélection d'antipasti, des salades, des soupes, des pizzas, des pâtes et des plats de résistance. En 2008, le Nizza a retenu l'attention du Time Out New York et du New York Magazine dans la catégorie « Petit Budget ». ABOUT OUR GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY MENU
Our GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY menu has been a welcomed blessing to our gluten free patrons since it was first introduced over a decade ago. Our GF pastas are made with corn flour, and our GF Pizza is made with an imported Italian Gluten Free flour. While we work very hard to keep all of our gluten free guests safe, Nizza is not solely a gluten free restaurant and there is always a risk of cross contamination.

Small place that provided us outstanding service. Pasta dishes were delicious. Sydney did a great job keeping things moving as we had theater tickets. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It’s been a few years since I was at Nizza and I found it unchanged with the same good Italian food at a decent price. It’s an excellent place for lunch in the theater district.

I have celiac. I ate the eggplant rollitini and spinach salad , with the pancetta removed. Both were delicious!!! My server was very attentive to my celiac needs, and it’s the next day and I feel fine! Yeah! I wound definitely recommend dining here for people with celiac.

Spinach lasagna disappeared and Thursday spinach lasagna day was the reason we came. Lasagna was plain noodles this time.

I've always walked by Nizza and wanted to check it out. I finally went on Saturday with a friend visiting from California and it did not disappoint. The food was good, friendly staff, etc. I'll be going back!

Great location and atmosphere, especially if you are going to the theater. Seating available outside and inside feels bright. Service was super slow, we were seated at 11:45 for lunch and ordered 3 simple salads / 1 small pizza which took over 30 min and waiter wasn’t really checking in.

I am never disappointed when I dine at Nizza. The servers, Gus and Alonso are professional in every sense of the word. It is always a pleasure seeing the friendly smile of Augustín, who buses tables. Thursday is lasagna night. Treat yourself and a few of your favorite friends.

Usually solid food and service as this is our go-to place. Pizzas were awesome. My chicken Milanese was super spicy. Luckily I traded meals with my husband who enjoyed it but I can’t eat spicy food. When we mentioned this our server, he said ‘no one has mentioned that today’. it’s not supposed to be spicy. Server essentially did nothing. I should have asked for a new meal. As we were leaving, another diner said the same thing to her server.

Our group of 4 had: arugula salads—light citrusy dressing and fresh parm cheese shavings; delicious arincini; papparadelle with fresh mushrooms and spinach; spicy rigatoni in creamy vodka sauce; gnocchi with red sauce and fresh ricotta. Pasta was clearly freshly made, served nice and hot, perfect! Drinks were well prepared. Wednesday was wine night, good price for good wine bottles. Tiramisu and chocolate torte were well worth the calories! Service was attentive and helpful, food served at nice pace. Place was full and ambiance was casual and lively without being crazy! Overall, highly recommend! Make reservation, they had to turn people away who couldn’t wait.

We had an amazing dinner with one of our closest friends who was in town for a quick visit. Nizza is such a fabulous restaurant for any occasion but it was especially perfect for our reunion dinner. We had a fantastic table tucked away by the window so it was intimate enough for us to spend a few hours catching up while enjoying the absolutely delicious food, drinks, and wonderful service from our waiter. We always love eating at Nizza and this evening was no different. Every menu item is delicious but I highly recommend the Arancini for a starter then either the Branzino, or any of their incredible pastas and we always finish with some Tiramisu (or the warm biscotti is also amazing) and espresso martinis which are some of the best espresso martinis we've ever had. 5 stars every time!!!

It was quite noisy and crowded when we arrived at 6:30pm on a Friday night, but became less so around 7:00pm. The food and service were great.

I enjoyed everything I ordered! The calamari was crispy and flavorful. The ceasar salad was delish and the rigatoni with Calabrian chile was ah-mazing!! Kids enjoyed it too! Also the chocolate torte with olive oil and sea salt was the perfect ending to the meal.

Great little restaurant with lovely staff and great food. Our daughter who has Celiac disease enjoyed her gnocchi and chocolate torte. I would definitely recommend.

Nizza is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Great food, excellent service, fun vibe. I’m there at least once a week. It’s my good luck restaurant. I take folks I’m interested in working with there. And it’s where I HAVE to go before every opening!

Went here after a matinee show on a friend's recommendation. I had emailed through open table and requested a table by the window. We arrived to a half full restaurant and there two window tables open.. we weren't seated at either. Ambiance and the tables were more like a cafeteria. The lighting was too bright. Our server Erin was very good and helpful unfortunately the front of the house is part of the service which failed . So thus my service stars. Food was mediocre. I had the cavitelli and my wife the chicken Milinase. Both just eh. I would not return or recommend.

We have three people with dietary restrictions and food allergies, and we were able to safely eat here. They had gluten free bread and a gluten free menu. We had a great pre show dining experience.
