NightJar, our private room has a separate entrance at 334 Gough Street and is the perfect setting for intimate parties, dinners, and happy hours. We offer a full bar and a well tailored wine list. Our chef will tailor the 5 course menu to each event, matching seasonal and market availability with guest preferences for $150 per person (exclusive of beverages, tax and service charges.) Cancelation Policy - We do ask for 5 working days before reservation, if this reservation is cancelled with in the 5 days before your reservation a fee of $150 per person will be applied. Optional wine pairings are available for $150pp. This room can accommodate up to 8-14 guests for a seated dinner, bookings at 5:30pm and 8pm.

One of the most thoughtful dining experiences ever. Kim and Ron along with their entire staff...kitchen and service create an understated and memorable evening. We commented on, even after many courses, and feeling satisfied that we were not uncomfortable...pleasantly full and happy. Kim carefully sources every ingredient, knowing and respecting the people who provide Nightbird with what makes the food delicious, complex in flavor and yet simple to understand and taste every element. If you want to treat yourself to a treasure of an evening...go to Nightbird. You will feel taken care of, fed well and loved.

We went to Nightbird to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted and seated upon (slightly early) arrival. Our coats were hung up for us - I wish more restaurants did this! The service was outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable, careful but not intrusive. We had the tasting menu which was excellent: every dish was of the same high quality. We also had the paired wines which were well-chosen and explained to us. A really fabulous experience. Pricy, so only for special occasions, but worth it when you are ready to push the boat out. Avoid driving, as parking is tricky around there.

The vegetarian menu was exceptional. Each dish had a delicious blend of flavors and the progression from dish to dish was thoughtfully designed. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and provided explanations for each dish that made each one more enjoyable. Nightbird deserves at least one Michelin star.

Lovely dinner, well paced with a mixture of small bits with more substantial courses, inspired wine pairing, beautiful dinnerware and presentation and one of best pre-dinner cocktails! Small and intimate with attentive staff. Food delicious!!

Simply fantastic. Very relaxed feeling while still being formal. The end of the meal perfectly mirrored the beginning in such a surprising and delightful way. Service was excellent. Great value for the price.

From the moment you enter, the team takes care of you. We had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was truly the best experience we have had in a long time. Creative, surprising, and phenomenal flavors. Presented beautifully on custom made dishes by a truly professional service team. Not one course disappointed, and we were impressed with the innovative use of seasonal ingredients. Highly recommended.

Out of this world amazing! The food was delicious, interesting and thoughtful. Every detail of the experience from the decor to the handmade plate ware to the stellar wine pairings was exquisite and unique. This place is a MUST!

The intensity, complexity, and balance of the food flavours were the stars of the show. The wine pairings, presentation, timing and service, while top notch, served the food flavours. There was a program-like narrative as different parts of the menu recalled others. There was consistent artfulness to the "program." Plus, Nightbird boasts a female chef/ owner Kim Alter. Veggie positive, local farms. For us, it was a special experience for our senses and souls.
