Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

    Simple birthday dinner for 2. Wish the menu had more main entree options. Overall good food, vibes I will continue to go back to experience the brunch and breakfast menu

    We have dined at Nido's s few times before the food has always been very creative and prepared perfectly. This was our last test of their service, past trips have been very poor in timeliness of service. This trip it took 12 minutes to get someone from the waitstaff to take our drink order. After we received our drinks service was excellent. The restaurant was not crowded and there appeared to be plenty of waitstaff.

    Great food and service. Our waiter, Nick made some great recommendations and we finished our dinner and started over again and repeated the Smoked Summer Beans and an excellent flatbread. This cold summer salad had the best light Asian flavored dressing we have ever had. The wines by the glass were excellent as well. Brunch was also very good both days and we lucked out and had Nick again on Father’s Day. We will be back when we visit Austin again.

    Fantastic night, server (Nick) was attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Food was excellent, expect to pay but you won’t be disappointed in the flavors. Parker Rolks are worth the carbs and the desserts are delish. We had a few raw items, appetizers entrees and dessert. Every course was well prepared

    Great place for brunch or lunch! Easy to get to and park, thanks to valet parking, beautiful space and great view -- looking north to Ladybird Lake and Downtown rather than from downtown. The menu is small but good -- we all enjoyed our meals. All four of us are planning to return together and bring others with us to this terrific restaurant.

    Sebastian, our server, was fantastic! He provided impeccable service. He set the standard! He made my sister and brother-in-law’s anniversary truly special! Great views sitting in the balcony.

    Hope everyone gets Trenton as their waiter! He was so knowledgeable and pleasant and helped us order all the BEST things on the menu. 10 out of 10 thanks to him!!

    My husband and I enjoyed a pre-Symphony dinner at Nido. The service was top notch and I truly appreciated the care and attention given to my dietary restrictions! From the cocktails to appetizers to main course, our meal did not disappoint. The tuna crudo, Bronzini and chicken were prepared to perfection. Thank you for a lovely evening!
