Nice Martin is a very nice place and the good was good. The noise level was impossible though. Could hardly converse with the three people at my table. Prices ok.

I had booked for our daughter’s graduation lunch having not been there before. Impeccably attentive gracious friendly server - she was fantastic - this meant so much and added to our happiness along w the delicious variety of fresh healthy entrees. The outdoor seating was perfect for a sunny day. Happy experience and memory!

Good quality food, but way overpriced. $26 for a not very generous glass of wine. $300 for a dinner of 5 people, with one appetizer to share for the table, 1 glass of wine and no desserts. Not going back anytime soon.

If you look for neighborhood gem - this is the one. Back after 15 years and it is still (out)standing…it may be a detonirao for visitor but it is well worth it.

We had a wonderful lunch yesterday at Nice Matin. I took two friends visiting from Australia there and they loved it. The food was as always delicious the wait staff perfect and the ambience perfect too!

I’ve been to Nice Matin many times for lunch and dinner. The food has always been good. The service also has been good, except for the last two times I was there for lunch. Several of the servers need further training in customer service, e.g., asking if everything is okay, refilling water glasses, not disappearing for extended periods, etc. I will be back, but it’s now not my go to place.

I have really enjoyed this restaurant for years but this time, our omelettes and eggs were overcooked and underseasoned. Not good. Service was great - I did not have time /patience to send back the eggs. The noise level was too much. It was Saturday brunch - a busy time and I like a feeling of energy but we really couldn't hear each other. I think they need to address that issue. This may have been an off day for the kitchen. I will try again

I came here for my bday celebration with some friends. The overall consensus The food was great, had the salmon and the food was spectacular. Service was timely, and we were seated quite promptly as well. Would definitely come back here!

Although we were late for our reservation (show at the Beacon ran long) they had no issue seating us. Service was stellar from the moment we walked into the door. Bread was hot and fresh, Tuna Tartare was impeccable. Mocktails were delicious (cucumber cooler was so refreshing). Steak Frites was so well cooked, fries perfectly fried and the bernaise sauce was well made. Mussels were amazing, so fresh, so delicately balanced as was the accompanying broth. Crème Brûlée was *chef’s kiss*—perfect. Enrique was excellent. Will absolutely be back.

This is a “go to” neighborhood restaurant. The menu is nicely varied though portions arent very large. My partner and I often share an entree, but here the entrees are small. The food is good and nicely prepared. We will continue to go to Nice Matin!

Nice welcome to our lunch at Nice Matin. Food great ... satisfying crepes with eggplant and goat cheese with berries and cream for dessert were spot on for a hot day. Iced tea is always really good here. The only problem? Our waiter. Person was attentive in taking our order. However, afterwards, he simply vanished and had NO interest at all in following up with any further needs. Had to flag down more helpful waiters to order a second iced tea and dessert. At the end of our meal, the original waiter re-emerged to breeze by and plonk down the check. Wonderful. More frequent visits and some smiles would have gone a long way to improve our overall experience.

This has become our go to restaurant when on Upper West Side for shows at Beacon Theatre or Shakespeare in the Park. Food and service were excellent as usual

This is the best, most professional, most enjoyable breakfast/brunch on the West Side. Everything on the prix fixe is interesting and inventive. For example, the Gruyère omelet comes with delicious inserts of perfectly braised leeks, so instead of just a nice cheesy omelet you get the wonderful bits of mild, sweet leeks. Always order the American Bteakfast—it comes with really fresh squeezed orange juice, which you can watch them square at the machine at the bar. I have been served “fresh squeezed” at other places that clearly came out of a Tropicana or similar “fresh squeezed” carton. It doesn’t have remotely the same taste. One little caveat: we ordered an orange scone as a side. It was recognizably orange, but the texture was heavy and gummy. Enjoy the excellent whole grain toast that comes with your breakfast.

This is the go-to place for an interesting and excellent breakfast on the weekend. The smoked salmon on bagel is stunning. The omelets are real omelets, not scrambled eggs that haven’t been scrambled. The orange juice is truly fresh squeezed (you can see it being done to order at the bar), not from a carton that’s labeled fresh squeezed. We never order waffles/pancakes, but they look great. Even the toast is special. Service is always cheery and there’s usually a manager around to see that it all goes smoothly. (Even the coffee is pretty good; we’re from Costa Rica and we are very particular about our coffee.).

Although the service was impeccable, the food was really disappointing: overcooked and over-seasoned meat, a bearnaise only in name... the creme brulee and lemon tart were okay but that wasn't enough to redeem the main dishes.

Phenomenal meal! My cocktail was great and the tuna tartare is one of the best I’ve ever had. We had both salmon and the branzino - both excellent. My husband and I are new parents, and we especially appreciated how accommodating they were of our gigantic carriage. New favorite in the neighborhood!

Been going to Nice Matin for years. We were there yesterday for brunch. Once again the brunch was only fair. Omelette was dry even after I told the waiter I like it loose and moist. Coffee was delicious. Ambience was cool and inviting. I’ll go back but wish they get it together in the kitchen.

I always have a good time at Nice Matin. It's a very civilized place to have a good meal and the room is so very lovely. It is a bit noisy for my taste, and I'm always looking for the quietest part of the room. It's not super loud, but people do have to raise their voices. At any rate, it hasn't kept me from returning frequently.
