Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fish is Durango Casino & Resort’s modern American steakhouse featuring prime meats, market-fresh seafood and a chic dining scene. Curated by innovative executive chef Frankie Gorriceta and property executive chef Daniel Ye, Nicco’s menu is all about sourcing – from the finest meat purveyors, dry-aged fish markets and straight-from-the-farm produce – all executed with a true culinarian’s precision.

Nicco’s offers a dinner menu that brings to life the best of both land and sea including a premium steak menu featuring USDA Prime, Dry Aged (exclusively for Nicco’s) and Wagyu cuts hand-selected from the world’s finest ranchers and purveyors alongside traditional American steakhouse dishes and signature entrees. Guests can also select from a fresh fish market seafood display featuring a variety of premium catches flown in daily while a raw bar, caviar and crudo menu round out the seafood experience.

I really enjoyed the food, the service was excellent & the ambiance was very very nice. This steakhouse is a vibe & I plan on returning again soon.

Both the food and the service were outstanding. I definitely recommend this for anyone that’s looking for a great atmosphere friendly and attentive service and amazing food.

Troy is amazing-so helpful with our wine selection and we enjoyed the tour of the wine cellar. Our steak had too much smoke in the flavor but it was a nice cut of meat. We would love to sit outside in the beautiful patio area next time.

The food and service is always first cabin and it beats driving down to the Strip which is always a zoo.

Very upbeat steakhouse. Food was tasty. - best grilled asparagus I’ve had and I’ve been trying a few steakhouses. My husband enjoyed his steak. Cocktails were really good !

We were seated right away (10 minutes earlier than the reservation). We were greeted by our servers very quickly, beverage and entrees menus were given and explained. Water and bread service given to us and beverages arrived in good time. The salad came (with cold salad fork) and was split for us at the table. Plates and silverware cleared quickly. We both got a filet with sharable potato and asparagus. The steak was done perfectly and tasty. All in all the meal and service was very good.

Overall this was a delicious experience, we will be returning. The service team was attentive even during a very busy Friday night dinner rush. They offer fresh baked bread with French butter, some crispy Caesar salad. We tried the wagyu tomahawk steak with some lobster tails, mack and cheese, grilled asparagus and French fries with spicy ketchup. Everything was perfect temperature, excellent quality and the presentation was lovely. It was our Anniversary, so we also tried the 10 layer chocolate cake. Definitely recommended this spot for the beef, but everything was spectacular.
