Overall a great experience, possibly because of the crowed as well. Service was excellent. Most of the pieces were great. Preparation is simple, you won’t be getting anything too creative, but quality of fish is top notch.

Thank you so much for making my birthday very special. I truly enjoyed every single element of the meal and I am still floating. Location wise, it is kind of out of my territory but definitely worth the trip. The ambience is very welcoming & peaceful too. We’ll be back soon.

Terrific omakase. Better than nakizawa. The ambience is bland, but the food makes up for it. Most of the fish is dry aged and of high quality. There could have been more dishes mixed in between the sushi.

Incredible meal. One of the best omakase meals I have ever had. Quality and flavor of each course was out of this world. This goes toe to toe with any of the high end Michelin star omakase restaurants.

Overall good experience and integrating dry aged fish into the menu is quite unique. Flavor and texture was good, fish is fresh and ambience was good. Would recommend the chefs take more time and effort in presentation on some aspects but that doesn't take too much away from the taste.

Leo was our sushi chef and he was super kind and talkative. The service was great and attentive, food was fantastic.. the 18 courses was super filling and for $125 the price is fantastic.

The 18 course omakase just raised the bar. You're greeted with your future dry aging in a case first thing in the restaurant. The only thing better then the last bite is the next bite.

The omakase was so delicious. The sushi was outstanding and even the small eats, like the honeydew ice cream and egg custard were superb.

Had a few dinners here for business. Myself and my clients love their quality of sushi and service. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We highly recommend this hidden gem and will be coming back regularly.

Neta Shari is a real gem in an unassuming location. I've had many omakases and this is definitely one of my favorites. Service is outstanding as it appears they serve only one party per seating leading to a very personal experience. In addition, they have varieties of fish that I have never had before prepared creatively by a talented chef. The taste profiles and textural experiences made for a memorable evening. They also explained they plan to change the offerings in future omakases. As for value, the omakase was at least 50% less than I have paid for a top rate omakase. I am from Texas and was introduced to Neta Shari by my lawyer and I am so grateful she did. As a personal endorsement, I have already booked a reservation for my next visit to the City.

What a terrific omakase experience! I LOVE omakase, though it takes something special to stand out. This is the place! From the quality of the fish, to the dry age take on familiar pieces, to the knowledgeable and hospitable service, I was thoroughly impressed.

Absolutely delicious fish! The dry aging makes every piece so soft and flavorful. The king salmon was especially tasty due to the dry aging. And they even have you try both California and Hokkaido uni through the tasting course!! Great value for $125.

This place was so good - best omakase I've had in New York and such high quality fish. I highly recommend to everybody, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion (we were celebrating our newlywed friends and they were so sweet).

This is truly a hidden gem in my own backyard. I can't wait to go back. We have been there twice and it is wonderful. The chef is terrific and so are the ones who greet and serve you.

They split the menu now. $65 for 10 courses and $125 for 14 course, plus extra 1 appetizer. Liked the off way better which was $75 for 14 courses. Food was great love the wagyu, scallop, and yuzu salmon.

The food was very high quality! When we received the dessert for the omakase, it unfortunately contained milk which I am allergic to. However, they gave me a hand roll as compensation! It was outstanding service!

Everything was great. One minor complaint, the music was very loud. We were the late seating so it was only 4 people. With more people it’s drowned out much easier. But that does no impact how amazing the food was

I've never had a bad experience with them. Bothered them twice to change my reservation from 4 to 6 people then back to 4 people with no issues. Perfect meal every time. Will continue to return for more.

The fish was very fresh and chef presentation & attitude very nice. Top notch quality. The music is way too loud, suitable for a night club.. took away from the experience somewhat. However, I eventually got used to it & was able to enjoy the meal; But I like to be able to hear the chef explain about each piece as presented. Not impressed with the dessert which was just a supermarket/over the counter grade mochi ice cream. But still a good value for what you get overall.. I still highly recommend this place, especially if loud club music doesn't bother you.

Wasn’t sure what to expect. Went in & saw the Huge O toro, some prestine salmon on hooks & a tuna belly with perfect marbling;I knew this place was going to be legit! Had a Japanese beer & the Omakase ,so good I had to ask what else they had…I ordered 4 addition pieces after my 15 course & glad I did. I left with a smile.It was a pre father’s day gift to myself.Dinner for 1 , which I’ve never done before. When u give time to everyone; sometimes u just need time to enjoy ur own company before the big celebration & enjoy time with your loved ones.
