    Need to improve alot on ambiance. I felt lime I was in a cafeteria. Tables were so close together the servers could not move freely

    Food was delicious and the service impeccable. The time between courses was perfect! We didn’t feel rushed and we had time to digest each course. Special surprises were given at the end of the meal before dessert and at the end a little offering to take to wander by the fire and see the spectacular view!

    This is a restaurant that’s trying really hard but hasn’t quite got there yet. Great potential and just needs fine tuning. Implied by the venue and the name you would expect a view from the dining room but you overlook a footpath and birds in the forest. Pretty, but not the premier view ( which is indeed a feature of the property!) I would eat outside instead of the dining room on my next visit as it affords more of a view. The food was good, flavour filled and well presented. A limited menu with several items not available on our Thursday afternoon luncheon. Dishes were served hot and quickly. Quantities were appropriate for fine dining. The dessert was disappointing to be generous. We were celebrating a birthday. And the quarter sized tart was very underwhelming and the requested candle on the electronic order was omitted. They did acknowledge the birthday on arrival so they were aware. The parting 3 ounce refreshing drink and dime sized cookie were fun. The staff here saved the day… fast, attentive and well trained. They acknowledged the dessert short coming and reflected it on the bill. Overall I am rooting for this restaurant. It has great potential and North Durham needs these boutique destination restaurants. The interior dining room was near capacity so people are coming and fine tuning the small details and adding value on some items will do this restaurant great benefit. I will return.

    Marvelous lunch celebrating a special birthday. Ended our meal with complimentary champagne and cookies. Wonderful experience and we will return!

    We went for Our anniversary and it was the perfect spot. The Views were very nice not anything you would experience at a typical restaurant in the city. The level of service was definitely five stars. All of the service staff was friendly and accommodating really made us feel welcome. The food was excellent, but it was the little things that made the difference allowing us to try to wines before making a decision. Bringing us a little cheese plate to enjoy between dinner and desert. And then even a little something after dessert to take out to the fire, some little shortbread cookies and a drink and I absolutely love a bonfire so being able to sit outside, look at the views and take in that smell I will definitely be back and it’s only a short drive from Durham region

    Variety of main menu , farm to table. Quality of food excellent and portions were substantial. Service was attentive with a warm welcome, throughout our dinner, The location is unique . The grounds are picturesque. Worth the drive to Uxbridge.

    Food was great, service was fantastic. We went there for our anniversary on date night Wednesday night and had the date night special which a good value for 3 course meal despite sharing the starter and dessert. The view outside was great.

    The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. We had eggs benedict, french toast, and brisket. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the french toast was probably the highlight!
