Wood burning oven stone shallow bowl with the rib eye. Good amount of food for two people. We got the mixed chicken and rib eye, but the beef was more flavorful.

The service was at times good but other times very poor. The electric disco music pounding away in the background was beyond annoying. We had been listening to that same music all day at the beach club. My pork dish was way too salty and I mentioned it to the server and all she did was give me a surprised look. There are a couple of other restaurants at the resort that are way better. I don’t think I will return to Nektar ever.

Enrique was our server he was very kind and helpful. We got the chicken bowl for 2 to share and were impressed with the portion size, presentation and taste. Compared to other entres at vidanta’s restaurants this felt like a great value for two people. The ambiance was great with the hanging lamps and being close to the water. The live music was nice and at a very enjoyable volume. Overall a great dinner experience

Make sure you are not seated by the waiter and bus boy landing strip. The waiters zoom by yell at each other and overall deteriorated what could have been a beautiful experience.

Great chance to try real local Mexican cooking. Offers great dancing & drinks after dinner along with Joya light & water show. Kids will love the ice cream truck dessert.

Our 2 waiters Edgar & Alberto are amazing, professional, attentive and went above & beyond! It was my aunt Linda’s 80th B-Day & even an hour after our dinner was over they told the band so they sang her a Happy B-Day!

Great service and good food, but felt a bit rushed to eat. This is the restaurant for the big Joyal Show and they seem to have a schedule they have to stick to.

Food was good, not great. Very expensive. They hard sell you to upgrade things and it was very noisy. Beautiful area, nice music, but loud.

Fantastic service & always the most gracious staff to serve us. Excellent local food of the Yucatán. I wish they had the phenomenal live music every night. Wait staff brought my husband an awesome birthday dessert & sang. We always feel super special at Nektar. Muchos Gracias

Nektar is a great place to go to eat while at Vidanta!! The food is unique to the area and there is a good variety of dishes to choose from . The waiters Juan Carlos and Seth did a great job for us which helped to make it an enjoyable dinner!!

Food was great. The drink options were also amazing. Service was prompt and did not have to wait for much. We had the fish dinner and the broiled chicken. And we both also had the beet salad which was great.

Food at Vidanta is amazing however they missed the mark with Nektar. Food and service here are awful. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Waited almost 25 minutes just to put our drink orders in. Because we waited so long, we put our food orders in too. At this point, Nektar was not packed at all. We ordered the shrimp tacos, chicken, and tamales. All dishes were not great. Shrimp tacos and tamales had no flavor. Chicken dish was all fatty pieces and we could hardly finish our meals, which says a lot because my boyfriend never leaves a dish with food on it and even he couldn’t finish any of the food we ordered. Left hungry and with a hefty bill. Despite all the amazing reviews, I would not come here if I were to ever be so lucky to visit Vidanta again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - except for the happy hour that starts at 8:30, that was fun and drinks were STRONG but come full!!

Great food though a little pricey. Challenging part was the delay in the shuttle to and back from the hotel. Great ambience with love music.

We had a wonderful evening at Nektar. The food was amazing, full of flavour, tasted great. We had the Shrimp Ceviche, Tamales, and the mixed (Ribe eye and chicken) wood burning stone shallow bowl main and I can honestly say, it was a superb meal. Perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. We were served by Juan for the evening and he couldn't do more for us. What a great night.
