Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Avenue, Neighborhood Sushi serves high quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. Happy hour and-a-half will offer food and beverage specials weekdays 3pm - 5pm throughout the entire restaurant.

Our front door is on the neighborhood facing side, in the Annie Street parking lot. Look for a black-stained door with a white and wood light-box sign. Our host will be waiting inside to welcome you! ADA accessible entry through the Sake Garden on the Congress sidewalk.

This was my 2nd time there, and I plan to be back. The handmade rolls were new to me and very good.

Best quality sushi in Austin? Really nice fresh cuts of a wide variety of seafood. Ambiance is smooth, relaxing, and modern while the service is reliable and friendly.It is a good fit for the aficionados of fish.

Nick was a fantastic server and made my partner’s birthday special. The food was phenomenal and the best drink ever is birds of paradise! So good!

Gracie was our server she was so kind and knowledgeable. Steven was the manager and really made our visit fun! The fish is always next level. We had a great time!

Celebrated an anniversary here and had the most superb evening! Greeted with welcome champagned and closed with coconut ice cream. Kaelynn (?) provided awesome service and recommended new items we hadn't tried previously - DO NOT miss out on the tuna tartare!

We were pleasantly surprised by this spot right on congress! There were some very good dishes and the fish was very fresh! We did spend $270 for two people (and do not drink alcohol), and this was overpriced for the quality of the food and ambience in our opinion. It was overall a good experience and we would return again!

This is one of my favorite sushi spots in town. I love the minimalist vibe and of course the food is outstanding. I usually allow the servers to decide what to order and I have never been disappointed. Last night was no exception. I love the simplicity of the way the food is prepared and really allowing the fish to shine. The rice is always perfection. Nigiri is always my go to and the standouts last night was definitely the side by side scallop and the uni. Everything was excellent though. It’s really hard to pick a favorite. The only thing I would wish is for more walk in availability.

Food was excellent and they have great options. Only issue was the service. Not attentive and quite slow. The restaurant is very nice. Definitely a great date spot. Highly recommend. You just need to be patient with service.

Had a reservation for 7:15 and didn’t get sat until 7:50. Overall food was good and hostess was apologetic, but definitely wasn’t pleased to be sitting for 30+ minutes when I had a reservation prior

We really enjoyed our evening at neighborhood Sushi! Food was amazing great service and food presentation! We went with our daughter who had been before but it was our first time. I would highly recommend it!

Went here with my wife and daughter and all of us had an amazing time. Madison was a fantastic server with her pleasant attitude, great recommendations and prompt service. You can’t go wrong with anything in the menu. In addition, my wife is vegetarian and she had many, tasty options.

Paisley was our server and provided a very memorable experience. She coursed everything perfectly and was always checking on us which showed she cared. Overall, had impeccable service and great food. Will definitely be coming back!

First time and really enjoyed the experience. Was a bit surprised there was not even a small amount of ginger or wasabi included for sushi plates or rolls. Somewhat expensive, but considering the S. Congress high-rent location, to be expected. Will be back to try more of the menu!
