Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Avenue, Neighborhood Sushi serves high quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. Happy hour and-a-half will offer food and beverage specials weekdays 3pm - 5pm throughout the entire restaurant.

Our front door is on the neighborhood facing side, in the Annie Street parking lot. Look for a black-stained door with a white and wood light-box sign. Our host will be waiting inside to welcome you! ADA accessible entry through the Sake Garden on the Congress sidewalk.

Literally the best sushi spot in Austin. They nail it every time. Delicious sushi and not insane pricing - I’ll be back often!

The service was awesome. Our server, a tall guy with long hair and a mustache, did a great job and was super kind to treat us to a little dessert for my girlfriend’s birthday. It was very warm in the space, which led us to keep our time short, so I ranked the ambiance low. Not sure if the A/C wasn’t functioning but that was a bummer.

It seemed like the AC was out, it was quite hot, and the fish was too warm for raw fish. The service pacing was VERY off. We finished our meal in 45 minutes with 2 appetizers, soups, nigiri and rolls. The hot soups came out at the same time as our chilled crudo with caviar and the rolls the same time as our tempura. Felt very rushed and did not match the price of the experience. Would not have minded but I specifically asked the server how we should put in our food and they said ‘all at once’.

Every time I’m surprised at just how good this place is. The corn tempura and the king crab nigiri are must-get along with whatever nigiri they’ve put on the special menu for the night.

We were sweating hot the entire time. The food was ok. Service was great. The noise level was crazy loud!

This was my 2nd time there, and I plan to be back. The handmade rolls were new to me and very good.

Popped in to NS for the first time last night as they were hosting sake brewers. Sat at the bar and had great, friendly bartender (Andy). He was very knowledgable on the menu and sakes. The food was simply incredible! Tried Tasmanian Trout collar with a pickled wasabi (fire), fatty tuna jalapeño roll was crunchy and spicy, multiple nigiri selections (yellowtail, fatty salmon, scallop). My bf and I arent huge eel fans but Andy suggested the BBQ fresh water eel which was a delicious last bite to a wonderful meal. Im converted:-) This place is bit on spendier side but well worth it.
