Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Avenue, Neighborhood Sushi serves high quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. Happy hour and-a-half will offer food and beverage specials weekdays 3pm - 5pm throughout the entire restaurant.

Our front door is on the neighborhood facing side, in the Annie Street parking lot. Look for a black-stained door with a white and wood light-box sign. Our host will be waiting inside to welcome you! ADA accessible entry through the Sake Garden on the Congress sidewalk.

    We were sat 20 minutes after our reservation while many parties were seated ahead of us. When we did make it to our table there was a horrible smell and we had to move tables but the hostesses were not kind or friendly. I was pretty shocked because ive always had great experiences here. It’s a favorite local spot was disappointed by the unfriendly vibe of the front staff. Waiter and food were amazing!!

    Fantastic food and wine recommendation from the server! Only reason why I could not rate as high as it deserves is the A/C was out and it was quite hot inside the restaurant. Water was also not ice cold. While disappointing, will definitely go back as food was superb.

    Best sushi restaurant in Texas without a doubt. The specials are consistently amazing, and the sushi is top notch

    The food is delicious and servers are professional. The sashimi and nigiri were high quality. The drinks were very good. The table we sat at was not in a good location in the restaurant as we were shoved in a corner spot with the server's station right behind us. The table next to us was very loud and we were very close to them, so it was a little difficult to have a conversation at normal volume. The price to food ratio was not good. Portions are about half the size of other sushi restaurants, but equal or more in cost. It ended up averaging $100/person before tax and tip to eat dinner and have two cocktails.

    I usually love this place but this was a terrible experience. Our waitress messed up multiple times, never asked us if we wanted a second drink, charged us for the mistakes mentioned before and made us feel rushed the entire time. When you’re spending over $300, you expect better service.

    Literally the best sushi spot in Austin. They nail it every time. Delicious sushi and not insane pricing - I’ll be back often!
