Nash Bar & Stage is a restaurant & bar that brings a little bit of Nashville to Boston; serving up Southern-style vittles alongside live music. Nash is the most recent restaurant under the umbrellas of the Buttermilk & Bourbon Group & partner Chef Jason Santos. We are located in Boston's famous theatre district right across from the Wang & Wilbur theaters!

We have two floors that host live music, line dancing & Nashville style songwriter circles. Our atmosphere is high energy, casual with a fun country vibe & features the amazing food Chef Santos is renowned for.

Really good food, though a small menu. On Sunday we got a brunch menu in addition to the normal menu which was nice. Could have used some better non-alcohol drink options. Service got a little slower as it got quite busy around the lunch hour so if you have a place to be, leave a little extra time.

Excellent from start to finish. Very friendly staff, the food was SO good (for real, get the cornbread. Shhhh. Just get it), cocktails were *chef’s kiss* and service was fast! They’ve kind of nailed the experience. Quick and easy for the theater crowd while maintaining an enjoyable overall experience.

Fun environment with themed nights and weekly line dancing. Good drink options and decent prices. Food is pricey and doesn’t accommodate much – very little or no veg, vegan, gluten free, etc. options. I rarely go to a restaurant anymore where there’s nothing for folks with allergies or ethical restrictions to eat but the server told me they have no options. Sad for a restaurant in a major city in 2024.

Upon arriving for a Sunday movie , a pit stop, food was needed, so I looked to Yelp for a friendly suggestion and due to a late cancelation, dining was pretty much just dinner. The menu was all of one page. made you wonder as to if the choice was worth the investigating. Menu looked top heavy in more than having appetizers. Buffalo chicken sliders and tenderloin tips (cheddar -potato puree) four small pieces of steak would be a good start for this big boy, but it would have to do. very quiet atmosphere, maybe because it was the hour? (5pm) but as we were leaving it did seem to be picking up. noted for the ne3xt time in the theatre district.

Went to Thursday night line dancing and had an amazing time! The bartender was great, food and drinks were great, over all fabulous. We’ll be back!

The service wasn’t good at all (although they were busy). They sat us at a table upstairs and not even 30 minutes into the meal started moving the tables around us to make room for a dance floor. The manager did assure us we didn’t need to rush, and he was very nice, but it was a very awkward feeling. I’d recommend not going to a late dinner here.

Enjoyed the tapas style sharing menu. The cornbread is a must! Served hot on a skillet with a scoop of butter. So delicious, crunchy on the outside, soft and sweet inside with a cinnamon top. Nachos were excellent, served with a scoop of guacamole. We also enjoyed the small plate tenderloin tips with mashed and brussel sprouts. The fried chicken sliders looked yummy! Next time. We'll definitely be back for the boozy milk shake and beignets!

The staff were wonderful.We were the only customers in the whole place. It was a Sunday night on a holiday weekend with Monday off. We went to the restaurant at about 8:30 PM. We did not want to go somewhere else as we had Uber there but we were the only people there. The food was OK but the menu was limited. The music was great!

Went in early for a bite to eat, friendly staff and very good service, the wedges were so good (and I don’t normally like wedges) was going to stay for the dance class but finished food by 630 and dancing was 2hrs later.

I was pleasantly surprised by how great this place is! The food was so tasty, so much more than your usual bar bites. The ambience was fun with wall art and the ubiquitous “What Would Dolly Do” sign. Combined with some great country music, it was a fun brunch experience. We want to come back for dinner. The manager was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Drinks were great. Service came to a slow halt only because large groups came in quickly and I think our waitress became inundated quickly but tried to recover and did a great job. We had a TON of food from nachos to salmon, calamari and sliders. All were great!

Wish we called ahead to inquire but who would’ve thought all of their taps would be down and then they’d be out of ALL IPAs in cans. We don’t know if this was just an awful coincidence, a perfect storm of beer shortages, but we didn’t even stay. We walked down the street to Rock and Rye and had beer and food there.

Honestly, I am flabbergasted. Jason Santos, you can do SO MUCH BETTER!!! Gordon Ramsey would be disappointed. The service was abominable. Out waitress sucked. She forgot about us for like 15 mins. Finally took our food and drink order at the same time. Our food came before our drinks. She never checked on us. HORRIBLE SERVICE. The staff was too busy messing around or flirting with one another. The bathrooms were so gross. The mirrors have those lightbulbs around it - they’re missing so many lightbulbs and/or the lights were out so it was so dim — probably because they haven’t cleaned the bathroom in a long time. The sinks were cracked - had straws and toothpicks all over. Like what are y’all doing?? Don’t waste your money or time. It was loud as hell and there wasn’t even anyone on stage.

Our first visit and DEFINITELY not our last. Cat, our server, was wonderful. Very attentive and provided us with aomw great menu suggestions. The food was DELICIOUS!!! We had the waygu sliders and pulled pork sandwich. We also grabbed a piece of the corn bread. BEST EVER. We will certainly be back!!

Small quanity of menu items (and everything is essential an appetizer), but all deliciously presented. The plates are on the small side, except for the chicken and waffles (with sunny side egg)...that's a meal. Four of us ate our way though most of the offerings. Well crafted drinks. I'm a scotch drinker and ordered the "smoked" Manhattan...worth trying once, but went back to scotch for the second round. Quick, attentive service before our show.
